Cruz, Son in Law?

Max's POV

Saying that I couldn't stop thinking of Eva was an understatement. With her being in Miami my wolf (Cruz) is going Crazy. I haven't been able to get a hold of him since we met her. He just wants to mark her and make her ours right this second but is not like that.

-Stop whining you're giving me a headache.

I yell to the mirror in front of me. Seen my red eyes I know Cruz wants to get out but I can't let that happen, God only knows what happened the last time he acted like this.

-I want her now and I know you do too, We Need Her.

He said growling at me in my head which only makes my head hurts even more.

-We need to work and to focus on the pack she will be back in a few days. I want her too but Patience is the key Cruz.

I told him with my voice low so I could calm him down because right now all I want is to go crazy but I can't let him go.

-Fine, whatever you said but as soon as she gets here we have to mark her and make her our Luna.

He said to calm down and then I didn't hear anything else meaning that he shot down our connection.

Me, on the other hand, have to get to work, I have duties on both sides of my world. I have a pack and a company to run. Even though my father is the CEO of Stevens & Jones INC, I do most of the work while he takes care of the deals and the people at our company. I always do the constructions projects is my passion, is what I always love to do. Since I was a little kid I always have a passion to build and create stuff, so that's what I decided to be when I grow up, an Architect. But I'm not the kind of just planning and let the others do it. I take the next steps and work with the crew on the construction till the end.

In my other world, I became the Alpha of the Red-Light Pack when I was 18 years old. My father thought that I was ready for it, which I was and there hasn't been anything more rewarding in my life that running my pack. They are the most loyal and respectful people I know, and my duty is to take care of their wellbeing and treat them just the same.

Therefore, Eva is so crucial to my life because the pack needs a Luna and I need my mate. She is my other half, my soulmate, my partner and the gift that the moon goddess gave me for life and as much as I want to make her mine immediately I know I must take it slow because she doesn't know anything about the supernatural world. This is a challenge I thought I would never encounter, I always thought my mate would be a she-wolf, but the goddess gave me a human mate and that's why it makes it harder.

I don't know how I'm going to deal with her and Cruz. He takes over me and I can't seem to control it. I have a strong personality but being an Alpha makes me stronger and my rage seems to grow with the minute when Cruz takes over. I want to forget about the last time with all my heart, but I just can't. Why did I leave Cruz to act like that, I will always blame myself for it until the day I died.

Night comes around and all I want to do is sleep and shut down these thoughts? I head to my room and I see Michael in the kitchen. I try to avoid him as much as I can, but he always finds a way to annoy the hell out of me.

-Congratulations, Big brother.

He says smirking at me. While I make my way to the stairs, he takes my foot and pulls me till I fell down the stairs.

-What the Hell man?

I said falling right to my face. He forgot who I am. I pick him up by the neck and threw him into the wall making him laugh and hold his hands up.

-When can I meet the future Luna?

-Never if you ask me.

I said growling at him still holding him by the neck.

-Let go before I make you.

He had the nerve to tell me.

-You little piece of Crap, who do you think you are, talking to your Alpha like that.

I said going full Cruz on him.

-I'm just playing with you relax man.

I let go of him and go to my room.

-Take care of the pack I need to be by myself.

I said through our mind link.

-Yes, Alpha will do.

He said and I shut down the mind link.

-Eva Eva Eva, what are you doing to me.

I said so loud that the walls move. My rage is getting out of control so I decided I need a cold shower. After that I'm going to go straight to bed I just need to sleep.

Max's POV

Friday couldn't come any soon, I'm to the point in where I could lose it any time now. I was in my office and I couldn't stay still and all I been thinking is about those full lips and brown eyes that keep haunting me since I saw it.

-Max Stevens speaking. I said answering my personal phone.

-Max this is Hector how are you son?

Eva's father just the guy I wanted to talk to.

-Hi, Hector, I'm good how are you? I said keeping my voice as respectful as possible.

-I'm great I think we need to have a talk right. I know what he means and what he wants to talk about which I can't wait because I need to tell him my intentions towards his daughter.

-Yes, we do, let's have lunch today and we can talk.

-Sure 12:30 pm at the Per Se.

-Sure I'll be there see you then.

-See you later.

I know he wants to talk about Eva and her being my mate. He knows about our world and how it works, and I know he must have questions about the whole mating thing, so this lunch is necessary.

-Hello there my friend. I said to Hector who's coming to the table.

-Hi son, how are you? He said embracing me in a hug. I hug him back and moved my hand to him, so he could sit.

-Do you want to order anything? I ask him

-Not really, I want to go to the point. Is it true that my daughter is your Mate? He asks me looking very serious.

-Yes, it's True I thought you heard me when I said it in our last meeting.

-Yes I heard what you said and that's why I let you take her home but I still need to know what are your intentions towards her.

-My intentions are very clear, she's my mate and she will be the Luna of the Pack. I'm planning to invite her to dinner tonight at my house and tell her everything. I said as serious as I can be.

-I'm going to give you my blessing because I know you since you were a little boy but you better be good to my daughter and not hurt her in any kind of way because you will have to answer to me.

-I will never hurt her Hector, she is my mate and I will be damned if I do that and you will never lose her, but I want her to move to my house and to meet the pack.

-Yes I figured that but you have to let her choose and make her own decision, you can't force her. One more thing she will keep working with us. I know you guys don't like girls working and staying at home having pups but that's not my Eva.

-I know she's the Luna trust me she will not stay at home and I want her to share her talents with the company so don't worry about that. But she will have pups sooner or later. I said chuckling a little bit.

-I know she wouldn't let you do that and yes, I will love to have grandchildren but not now. He said chuckling also.

-Well Max as much as I don't want to let go of my princess I know you'll be an excellent Son in Law but don't hurt her you know I have some silver bullets in my collection. He said smiling at me.

-Thank You, Hector, and yes you can kill me if I ever hurt her, that's if I don't die first of sorrow of course. I said laughing at him.

After my meeting with Hector, I call my mother to ask her if she can cook my favorite meal for Eva and me this afternoon.

-Are you bring her to your house? She asks with her soft voice. My mother is the best mom out there and I love her dishes and I want to share that with Eva.

-Yes, mom, I need to take her to my house and tell her everything about us. I said to her and I bet she is smiling in the other side

-Honey, I will definitely cook for our Luna, it will be a pleasure.

-Thank you, mom, I appreciate it.

-You're welcome Alpha, she said and hang up our call.

God, I can't wait for tonight I need to see her so bad and make her mine. Moon goddess give me the patience to hold myself and not let Cruz take over.
