Ride to Miami?

----At The Meeting-------

Max POV

All I could do was stared at her, I mean she's my mate and she's so beautiful, I don't think I can't control myself any longer.

-Max stop staring at her, you're making her uncomfortable.

My dad told me through our mind-link.

-I know but I can't resist, she's so beautiful Dad.

-I know Son congratulations, you're one lucky wolf.

I smiled at his comment without taking my eyes off her. She noticed but she kept talking about the plans for the new Project. After 2 hours of talking and getting the designs ready for the constructions, we were finally done, I can't lie seen her talking with so much passion about work turn me on, even more, I always wanted a mate that was smart and likes to work and here I am. Yes, my dad is right I'm one lucky wolf.

-So when can we start working?

My dad asks.

-Next Monday, I have to go to Miami to finish some business.

She said smiling, Hum I wonder what business she needs to finish.

-Ok, so next Monday Max can start with the construction.

I nod feeling my jealousy raising in my chest, I don't want to talk so they don't notice it my rage, but I don't know why she has to go Miami and I need to know now.

-So Hector care to tell me who's the beauty?

I ask him without taking my eyes off her.

-Sorry I haven't introduced you to my daughter, Eva Jones.

He said smiling at her and looking back at me. I know that smile and he knows that she's my mate. I always like Hector since I meet him when I was a little wolf, and he's one of the few humans that know about our secret, he is considered as family to my pack and family members because of his loyalty and respect towards us. When I heard what happened to his wife I felt sorry for him because I knew how much they loved each other.

-Of course, she is, she looks just like Lisa.

Said my dad talking about Eva's mom.

-So what are your business in Miami if I can ask?

I said to her looking at her lips.

-I'm decorating my best friend's wedding.

She said looking straight at me again, I swear she turns me on when she does that.

-Are you taking the whole week off?

-Yes, I'm planning her reception and the wedding is my present for her and the groom.

-I see she must be thankful to have you as her friend.

-I'm thankful to have her as my friend, after her wedding I'm coming back and I will be dedicating my entire time to the project. I have to go now I need to pack and catch a plane.

She said standing up from her seat and Moon goddess give me the strength to hold myself from not taking her right here.

-Ok, Eva have a great week and enjoy yourself.

Said my dad shaking her hand.

-Thank You and I will, it was a pleasure meeting you.

She said looking at him.

-Let me give you a ride home.

I said to her offering my hand.

-Thank You but it's not necessary my driver is waiting for me.

She said looking at her dad.

-Whatever you want, darling.

I see that Eva is hesitating and looking like she does not want me around, but finally decides and allow me to take her home.

-Ok, sure thank you.

Says Eva finally after hugging her dad and walking towards the door.

Eva's POV

Woo, thank you, dad, for the help. I mean he's been always so protective and now he's letting me go so easy like this, I know there's something going on. Guess I have to accept the ride I need to get home and get ready.

-Ok well, I see you when I get back home Friday.

I said giving him a kiss and a hug.

-Be careful, honey and have fun see you Friday.

I take Max's hand and I feel an electricity running through my body as soon as our fingers touch. I did a little jump from it and I know he notices it. He smirks at me and took my hand into his leading me out the office.

When we get out of the conference room I notice there are more people in the office and they all stare at us while we make our way to the elevators, I notice some people bowing their heads towards Max and I'm confused. We reach the elevator and there are a few employees waiting for the elevator too and I notice they all move to the other elevator.

I was starting to open my mouth to ask him What is going on when the elevator door open and we get inside.

As soon as the doors closed he pushes me against the elevator wall and place his hands on my hips. Our faces are barely touching, and his blue eyes are red now.

-What are you doing?

I ask him my anger starting to rise, I mean he is hot and all, but he can't be doing with me whatever he wants.

-Mine!!!! I need you and you're mine.

He said with his eyes still red looking at my lips.

-Yours? You must be crazy, now get off me.

I said looking back at his eyes. He ran his right hand through my face and touch my lips with his thumb. I feel a tingle in my stomach and goosebumps start to run through my body from my head to my toes. What is this guy doing to me?

Next thing I know he kisses me and getting closer to me which I don't know if is even possible at this point. As soon as he places his lips on mine I was gone, I couldn't think, the energy and passion that I felt when he kissed me were mind-blowing. He bites my lower lip forcing me to open my mouth, deepening the kiss. I felt my legs getting weak and if it wasn't because he was holding me I would have felt. But wait I can't do this. After what it feels like ages of kissing he let go, we were both breathless and he pressed his forehead into mine. I open my eyes and saw him with his eyes closed.

-Max, what are you doing? You can't be kissing people like is your business, you don't even know me.

I said as I push him off me. I don't know what kind of girls he dealt with before but I'm not that type.

-You don't understand but as soon as you get back from Miami we must talk.

-We don't have anything to talk about Max and let's keep this relationship as professional as possible.

I said pointing at him. He started chuckling and I melted, he looks so sexy. Wait, Eva stop, focus keep your head on the game.

-We will talk when you get back from Miami and that's final.

I know he was being serious this time and all I did was nodded with my head. As much as I don't like his tone towards me right now he got some explaining to do about this whole damn day.

-Let's go before you miss your plane.

After we got out of the elevator he leads me to his car that was parked in front of the building and of course, he drives a sexy car for a sexy man. The ride home was quiet, both of us were in deep thoughts after what just happened.

See how he got me thinking, I have never felt this kind of way for a guy before and I don't know what to do or make of it. He left me at my doorsteps and I was about to walk inside the house when he grabs me by my hips again and turn me around so I was facing him.

-Have a great week and don't let any males touch what is MINE, see you on Friday Angel.

He said as he pecks my lips and let me go.

Wait, what?! Don't let any males around me and did he just call me Angel. Great, this guy is crazy, just what I need it. But I can't think about this right now. I must pack and go, I will talk to Andrea about this she would know what to do.
