Both men made a slight bow in acknowledgment. I gazed at the quaint many-pained windows brightly lit from inside. Gas sconces hanging in doorways or at the street corners illuminated the wet brickwork. I stared at an interesting pointed arched doorway with stone steps leading up to it. Something about it made me remember something. Images from a past vision, perhaps. It felt familiar. It now returned, briefly like the yellow blips of lightning bugs in the night.
