Chapter Five “I told you not to bring her here! She’s not f*****g ready! How do you think I felt when you kidnapped me?” A beautiful and musical voice pulls me out of darkness. “I don’t think you minded when I was balls deep in you not twelve hours later.” The voice of the man… ghost… angel? Responds. “You asshole!” “I stay away from anal.” “You’re mate just woke up. Have fun explaining everything to a daughter of three gods” a new masculine voice joins in.” “Shut up, Lucifer! Are you begging to keep your streak of celibacy going?” Did she just say… Lucifer? No. Not, like, the actual Lucifer? “Both of you get out” Azrael’s voice commands, and two pairs of footsteps shuffle out before a door slams angrily. “I know you’re awake, baby.” His voice rings out as he approaches where I’m laying quite comfortably on a bed. I sit up, brushing off the mild dizziness. My eyes lock with his, and he stiffens slightly at the death glare I’m giving him. “Alright, motherfucker. You are going to tell me where the f**k I am, and how the f**k to get back home. Then we will part ways, and live happily ever after. Apart.” Azrael seems amused by my response. “Well, princess, you’re on Mount Olympus. The Greek gods version of  heaven. The real heaven where god and most angels live is elsewhere, but when the God created the Grecian gods to help him out, he wanted to put them somewhere else. And boom, Mount Olympus happened.” Although I’d love nothing more than to snort and laugh, I know he’s not kidding. I can tell. I don’t know how, but sometimes I just know things. “In terms of how to get home, you can’t unless someone here takes you back. Which nobody will. So here’s what I propose. We eat so you can get some food in your system, and then I will take you to the actual garden of Eden, and catch you up on every secret that’s been kept from you for your entire life.” “No. Tell me now.” I demand. “This is non negotiable. You’re already underweight, and I want you to keep that gorgeous figure you have. Besides, I’m a fantastic cook.” I let out a huff and try to stand from the bed, only to start falling back down. Before I hit the ground, however, Azrael catches me. His hold is gentle yet firm and he scoops me up before carrying me down a flight of stairs and past several rooms. We enter a lavishly decorated kitchen, and he seats me on one of the stools at the kitchen island before heading over to the fridge. Not wanting to feel weak, I decide that this is the time to try to stand and get movement going back through my body. I walk around a little bit. If Azrael notices, he doesn’t stop me. Once I’m satisfied with my motor skills, I hop up onto the counter. I glance over to see Azrael assembling ingredients that could only be for lasagna. “Let me help you,” I offer, and Azrael nods with a smile. As we both cook together, he finally starts talking. “Since you’re being good, I can tell you now, if you’d like.” “I would very much like,” I say- getting a salad ready. “Well… It started with God. Every Greek god and angel was created by the God. Now, a few decades ago, God’s sister- mother nature- had a daughter. The way this happened was that she was near when the child was conceived, and she directed a fundamental part of her energy… her soul… to the child. Therefore making it her daughter, as well.” “What does this have to do with me?” Azrael chuckles, layering everything in a baking pan. “Well, after seeing how happy his sister is and how fantastic his niece is, God decided to do it himself. He directed energy to you when you were conceived by your real parents, Hermes and Athena.” Of course, being me, I come up with the most ridiculous things to say. “So I’m Jesus’s sister?” Azrael bursts out laughing, eventually starting to tear up. “You find out that you’re the daughter of god, and that’s the first thing you say?” I shrug, staring at him blankly. “Jesus isn’t God’s son. He’s the son of Mary and an angel. The bible got a lot right, but it also got some stuff wrong.” “So I’m related to Jesus?” Azrael wraps his arms around me. “The fact that you’re saying this proves that we’re made for each other. But to answer you, yes. You are related to every heavenly being.” I step out of Azrael’s embrace. “Now that is f*****g awesome!”
