Chapter 17 Worst Birthday?

(Y/n)'s POV

It's Friday, and it's my birthday.

On the morning, I went down from my room. When I went to the kitchen, suddenly the sounds of confetti filled the room.

"Surprise!" My parents and brothers surprised me.

"!!!"

Parents: Happy Birthday (y/n)!

Brothers: Happy Birthday, Imouto!!!~~

Me: Hehe, thank you~

Everyone hugged me and kissed me. I giggled. I cut the cake and go to school. When I went to school no one said 'Happy Birthday' to me. It's okay, but I felt kinda sad. Well I've never actually tell them when is my birthday. I went to my seat.

Kayano: Morning (y/n)-chan!~

Me: Morning Kayano-chan~

Karma came in.

Me: Good Morning Karma-kun!~

K: Morning.

Huh? That's weird...Karma-kun is not as cheerful as usual.

Then I go to a vending machine which is at the main building. I was about to insert my money until someone tap my shoulder. I turn around and it turns out to be Asano.

Then Asano bought the cola for me.

Asano-kun is not as bad as the other students. He's actually nice. I mean, the others are nice too, but he's different.

Me: Move? Ah, well...it's because I can't keep up with the lesson~

When I finally calmed myself down, I went back. It turns out that everyone has already found their partner except me. I approached Karasuma-sensei.

Karasuma: That means you are going to play solo. I explained this to the others already. So everyone will attack you, the solo first, then they will attack each other.

Karasuma: Everyone, listen up! (Y/n) here is the solo one. Go to your position. I'll give you 10 second until the training start.

So, everyone went to their position. You were given a knife and the gun. Then the game starts. Then you were walking around the forest, waiting someone to attack. Someone tried to shoot you but you dodged it. Another person kept on shooting at your direction but you dodged all of them.

Then you ran towards them with your speed and stabbed them.

You: ...This is too easy...I should make it easier for them...

You then saw Okuda pulling Karma's arm.

'I thought you wouldn't disturb us anymore, Okuda...' you thought.

You heard footsteps heading towards you. Then, there's a bomb to blur your vision, it exploded. It turns out that the Karma and Okuda were distracting you.

You: ! Where did?!

Then you heard a lot of gun noises. It was disturbing. You covered your ears. It was so loud. You hated it. Your ears are hurting.

You: Stop...

Then you ran deeper to the forest.

Suddenly the skies began to darken. Rain started to fall. You still hear the gun noises that mean you'll still continue this training you called game. Thunder strikes a tree near you. You screamed and covered your ears. You're afraid of thunder. It seems that everyone heard the scream. They run towards you while shooting. Then, they put another bomb to blur your vision. And they start the gun noises again. You're sweating. You put more pressure on covering your ears. A tear dropped on your face. Karma's in the back of you, he's in charge of killing you. The gun noises were supposed to distract you. His knife was about to hit your back until another thunder strike.

'I need to do this...no matter what' was what Karma's thinking.

Karma's about to stab you, until you screamed as loud as you can.

Me: STOP IT!!!!!

And run in a fast speed stabbing everyone in 3 seconds, but it felt slow for you.

You stood in a clear field. Eyes covered with your bangs.

Your legs dropped, you looked up to the sky.

Karasuma: ...Yes, it's finished.

A tear dropped on your face.

The sound of thunder is heard again.

You covered yourself with your leg slowly.

Me: *Sob Stop...no more...pls...

'This is the worst birthday ever...'

Karma stared at you with wide eyes. Karma clenched his teeth and hands. He approached you and hugged you. He patted your back.

K: You're gonna be okay...I'm here.

Your eyes widen and you closed your eyes. More tears fell. Karma suddenly carried you bridal style.

K: Come on, let's get you fixed.

Karma gives a signal to his friends that you are going to be okay and to prepare.

Karma brought you to a room to dry you. He put you down on a chair and put a towel on your head. Then he began to dry your hair.

The room was full of silence. Then Karma finished drying your hair.

K: Let me walk you home. Can you walk?

You said nothing since it's time to go home anyways. You just nodded. Karma took out his umbrella and walked you home. Again, it was quiet.

You reached your home. You stood in front of the door and pulled Karma's uniform a bit.

K: Yeah?

You: D-do you...hate me?

K: ...No.

You: Did I do something to anger you?

K: No.

You faced Karma.

You wiped your tears. You made a wish and blew the candles.

Then Kayano was supposed to comfort you and bring you here. But the plan changed. You were screaming and crying then Karma ended up to be the one who's comforting you in the end. Then Karma gave us a signal to prepare these.

You ran back to the balcony. You found Karma and hugged him from behind.

He hides his blush while smirking.

You: So, you lied when you said you don't have any present? It seems like you already gave me my present~

You opened it and inside the box was a cool looking collar. Doesn’t really look like it’s for pets. It kind of looks more of like a collar-looking necklace though.

K: It's for you to wear.

You: Eh?! But I'm neither a dog nor a cat!

Karma pats your head.

K: It's to mark that you are my property~

Your face flushed red.

The collar says 'Karma's Property' in English.

You bite your lower lips and averted your eyes feeling embarrassed.

Karma put the collar on your neck.

K: *Sigh Your necklace is kinda disturbing...

You: Don't worry this necklace can be a bracelet too!

You took the necklace off and pushed the stone. It became a bracelet. You used it on your hand.

You: Still though, I can't believe you did all of this for me..

Karma smiled.

K: You know I won't do this to just anyone right? You owe me~

You: Btw...how did you know it was my birthday today?

You: Hmm~

K: It's on Christmas.

The party ended.

It was night. You used your night clothes and open the bag of cookies. Suddenly there's a knock on your door. You opened it. It was your onii-chans.

S: We came here to give you your present~

Sora gave you 2 nendoroids, (1st anime waifu) and (2nd anime waifu). Sora also gave you a bunch of manga of your, favorite genre.

You: Thank you Sora onii-chan!~

You kissed his cheeks.

I: These are for you~

Izaya gave you 2 figmas, it was (1st anime husband and (2nd anime husband). He also gave you some posters.

You: Thanks a lot! Izaya onii-chan!~ I'm so happy!

You fangirled.

You: Both of you are the best onii-chan in the world!~ I love you both!~

You hugged them both. They laugh by your cute reaction.

I: I'll go back now~

S: Yeah me too.

Then they closed the door and go to their room.

You took a cookie. It looks delicious. You bite it and your eyes sparkled. You keep on eating it until it was only ¼ left. Then you found a paper. You took it and saw writing.

'Let's go on a date tomorrow~

I'm gonna pick you up at 10 a.m.
