Apart from Moon and I, the people sitting at the head table all were good friends with Kai.
We sat at a large round table, where I sat directly opposite Kai.
The seat to the left of Kai was deliberately left unoccupied. Everyone had tacitly reserved that seat for Joy.
There was also an unoccupied seat beside me. The reason? It was obviously because no one besides Moon wanted to sit next to me. They all wanted to ostracize and humiliate me.
Bob, the ever so faithful lackey of Kai, even walked toward the unoccupied seat, acted like he was ready to sit down, and then pretended to be shocked seeing me sitting next to him. With a face of pure disgust, he got up and moved to another seat.
This act aroused laughter from everyone inside the room.
Seeing this farce, Kai decided to play along
