It’s ten minutes pass eight in the morning when I arrive at our unit’s headquarter and rush inside Detective Hipolito’s office. My unscheduled appearance takes my senior by surprise. “What are you doing here? You should be resting.” “I saw the news,” I reply as I sit down in one of the chairs across his desk. “Did the higher ups already gave the case to us?” “We are yet to find out. But I’m already expecting it so I asked for the copy of CCTV where Ms. Pagobo was last seen,” he says while showing me the videos from a familiar subdivision’s main gate on his desktop. I squint my eyes as I look closer, trying to figure out if my memory serves me right. “Wait! Is this the main gate of the Watercress Subdivision?” “It is.
