In the next half a minute, I receive nothing but a huff and a puff from Bianca. She keeps on moving her eyes to avoid my gaze while slurping the cold coffee, creating noise to dwindle the awkwardness. Unable to wait any longer, I lean my body closer to her direction and ask her the same question. “Who killed Mallory San…” She cuts me off. “It’s Mr. Chaz.” My heart sinks even though my brain declines to accept her answer.
