I couldn't believe what I'm seeing. My Rani is alive. She was standing there like nothing happened. The slit on her throat has vanished. There wasn't even a scar on her neck. Everyone gasped to how she was alive. When I looked at her closely, I noticed that her eyes changed colour. Once was hazel green eyes, thar I loved, is now violet with flecks of white in them. Shevstille had the scar on her left eye but that didn't bother me, she's still beautiful in my eyes. Her brown hair that had gold and purple streaks. She was breathtaking.
"What did I miss?" she asked simply. Everyone was just staring at her and speechless.
"What? What are you guys looking at?" Rani asked in confusion as she was looking behind her.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?" She asked in annoyance. No one didn't say anything. Rani then looked at me up and down my body. Was she checking me out. I smirked.
"You like what you see, my pretty little demon?" I teased. Flecking my chest. she gave me a sly smile.
"Yes I do" she said bluntly. Damn my girl don't hold back. That's what I love about her. She never hides what she is feeling.
"It's all yours, my love. Say the word and you can have all of me. Just say when and where and it's done" I said flirtatiously. She raise a brow at me but I saw her bit her lower lip. Yep she was trying hide her arousal but failing miserably.
"How much I want to, we have to save that for later. However, in the mean time I need you to turn back into your human form please swamp beast" she stated. I whined and pouted at her. She's no fun. She snorted. I did what she told me to do and shifted back to my human form.
I ran up to her, picked her up and spin her around. She yelped in surprise and then she laughed. Goddess I missed hearing her laugh. Once I stopped spinning her around, kissed every inch of her beautiful face and licked her scar a few times.
"Rudra, darling, I know you're happy that I'm here but can you please tell me what happened? My memory is a bit fuzzy" she said softly. I stopped and looked at her. She doesn't remember what happened to her?
"You don't remember?" I asked. Rani just shook her head.
"Not really"
"What do you remember, my love?"
"I remember there was some argument. Then I remember that someone walked up to me and then everything went blank" she said simply. She doesn't remember getting killed?
"What happened?" My Rani asked confused.
"Ummm well... my love, you died" I replied delicately. She went wide eyed. Blood drained from her face
"How did I die?"
"One of the elders killed you" I said honestly. Rani face was scrunched up. Her eyes went black and her fangs extended. Then turned to face the elders.
"Who killed me? Which one of you killed me?" She growled. They didn't say anything. They were just standing there nervously. Shifting their feet and looking around. My Rani was loosing her patient.
"WHO KILLED ME?" She roared. That is the first time she roared. I wonder why? They were trembling like scared little kittens now. They won't going to answer, so I did instead.
"The elder dragon, killed you. He slit your throat, my pretty little demon" I said remorsefully. Now Rani looked murderous now. She glared at him.
"You. You killed me? Why?" She gritted out.
"You were disrespecting Raiden, the future queen so I killed you. I have no regrets" he said dismissively, like he had no care in the world. He looked at her with defiant. I was lived. I am going to skin him alive.
"HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT MY RANI. APOLOGISE" I demanded dangerously. He just scoffed.
"I'm not going to apologise to that. I am superior and she is beneath me" he said in discuss and giving Rani a nasty look. I roared.
"You will pay for that" I bellowed. I went up to him and grabbed his neck; lifting him off the ground. His leg dangling. The elder dragon was struggling to loosen my grip. I dig my nails on his throat, slowly.
"Let him go now, prince Rudra. You'll be punished if you kill him" elder lycan snapped.
"Don't make us confine you in the dungeons if you do this" the elder witch hissed.
"That it look like I care? It will be worth it of killing him" I said coldly and meaning every word. However, Rani put her hand on my arm, holding it and stroking my arm with her thumb.
"They're right swamp beast. You should let him go" she said softly but I refused.
"No. He will suffer to what he done to you. I will not let him get away with it. I don't care if I get punished for it" I growled.
"I do. I don't want to see you punished. So please let him go" my Rani said gently.
"No"
"Please?"
"No"
"Rudra please let him go" Rani asked pleading.
"No I won't. He will pay" I said stubbornly.
"Rudra, darling, look at me please" she asked calmly. I looked at her.
"It's ok really. I'm ok, you're ok, we're ok. All I want for you to do is let him go" she said sweetly and giving me a small. I looked at her in concerning look.
"I want him to suffer" I said more calmly. She cupped my cheek and kissed my cheek.
"I know, swamp beast. Just let him go. Trust me" she said lovingly. I signed. I can't say no to her, no matter how much I tried. My wolf and my dragon was slamming their heads on the invisible wall in my head. They too can't resist of denying her wishes. What this woman doing to me?
"Fine" I said defeatedly and dropped the elder dragon. He was rubbing his throat and coughing.
"Thank you swamp beast. You're the best" my Rani said sweetly. Damn this woman. She's going to be the death of me. Rani went up to him and grabbed his jaw. He winced to how hard she was holding his jaw. He glared at her.
"Did just told prince Rudra not to kill me so that you can do it yourself?" The elder dragon struggled out.
"Why do you think I'm going to kill?" She questioned innocently. Well she sounded innocent.
"Cause I killed you and you want to punish me. That's the only reason I could think of" he said plainly.
"Oh! I do want you to be punished but I'm not going to kill you. There's worse things than death" she said dangerously and darkly. Giving him a sinister smile. There was a glimpse of mischief in her eyes. What my pretty little demon got up her sleeve. The elder dragon looked scared.
"W-what are you g-going to d-do t-to me?" He trembled.
"Why tell you when you can show you" Rani said simply. She had a chilling smile that will make an ordinary person pale of fright but me on the other hand, was getting excited. I wanted to know what my Rani was going to do.
"What do you...... Aaahhhh" the elder dragon was interrupted and screamed in agony. Rani shove her hand right through his chest. It looked like she was trying to get something out. She was pulling something out of his chest. After a few tagging, she pulled out her hand and what she pulled out a glowing orb. Everyone was shell-shocked. I was surprised.
"What did you do? What's that in your hand?" My mother asked shakily.
"It's his soul. She got his actual soul in her hand" elder witch said. Horror-striken to what Rani just done.
"Yes that's right, it's the elder dragon's soul. Well done for noticing council" Rani said mockingly. The elders went stiffed. Not knowing what to do. I was grinning. I never been so proud of my pretty little demon.
Rani squished the soul in the palm of her hand until it vanished.
"What did you do it?" the elder witch screeched.
"Don't worry. His soul ain't gone. I just kept it safe place" she said like it wasn't a big deal.
"You can't do that?" Elder lycan growled.
"Yes I can. Watch me" she said daringly and before elder lycan could respond, blinked in front of him and took his soul and squeezed it until it was gone. Rani didn't even give the elder witch could react, she also took her soul and squeezing it until it was gone. Everyone in the room was shell-shocked. Their Jaws dropped.
"You. You're a monster" my mother gasped. Looking at Rani in disbelief.
"Oh you haven't seen nothing yet" Rani smirked mischievously and started to stork towards my mother. My mother was panicking and started walking slowly backwards.
"But let me show you what a true monster really look like"
