“Don’t let them leave!” Reid’s booming voice jolted me awake. The base of my skull ached. I was immediately aware of an unpleasant, sticky wetness in my hair, as soon as I stirred the slightest bit. “Natalie?” I groaned and tried to turn onto my side, but I was leaning on someone. Their scent was familiar, and my Wolf perked up. Shouting, snarling, and cussing continued in the distance somewhere. “Natalie, are you okay?” Hands were grabbing at my shoulders. They brushed my hair out of my face. My eyelids felt heavy, but I forced them open. I tried to twist around to look behind me, but the pain in my head was excruciating. I squeezed my eyes shut again and stilled. “Natalie, don’t move. Wait for Reid.” It was Nina, and she sounded concerned. Reid! My Wolf was suddenly frantic. Whe
