Tommy stepped out of the way and gestured for my Mate to enter. He did, and sat down in one of the chairs in front of my desk, his unusual eyes boring into me.
“Do you need me to stay, Nat?” Tommy asked. His gruff voice sounded miles away.
“No, thank you, but can you shut the door please?” I replied.
