    Ari’s fingers pinched at her bracelet as she sat between Jon and Michelle at the long dining room table. Although she hadn’t planned on sticking around here that long, she had easily been roped into staying for dinner since the only thing she had eaten all day was the blueberry yogurt back at the apartment. After eating what Jon called veal Orloff or something like that, Ari thought she had died and gone to heaven. Michelle said it was a type of beef, but holy damn, she had never tasted beef like that before!
