Seth placed Delilah onto her bed , but when he tried to stand up straight , her hands were balled into fists , gripping his shirt tightly in her hands . A small smile crept up his face .
“You need to let go .” He whispered , but instead of letting go of his black shirt , she pulled him closer to her .
He fell forward , a hand on each side of her as he balanced himself .
He chuckled slightly and laid down next to her , shaking his head as he couldn’t believe that she held onto him so tightly .
He lifted her head and put his arm underneath her head , pulling her into his embrace and she happily accepted .
“Everything’s okay .” He muttered as he lightly stroke her cheek with his thumb . Delilah rested her head in the nape of his neck , her hot breath fanning his skin .
