Delilah woke up late the following day , her eyes puffy from all the crying the night before . She went to the bathroom and used a damp cloth to clean her face .
' Everything is fine . ' she told herself as she stared at her pale reflection in the mirror . There were dark circles under her eyes and her head felt as if she had been drinking the night before .
She repeatedly told herself that she was alright as she felt dizzy walking down the stairs .
" You slept in . " Emma smiled as she saw her friend coming downstairs .
" Yeah . " Delilah yawned as she looked around -- it was still a mess .
" I too just woke up , you look like you need coffee more than I do . " Emma states as she saw how terrible Delilah looked .
" What ? " Delilah asks confused .
