Giselle rubbed her eyes as she cried to her heart content when she felt a stick being poked in her ribs.
"Oi, you crying cow?
Is everything okay?"
After poking Giselle in her ribs with stick like she had some dangerous disease and he would catch it if he touch her, be sat down.
Becay she helped him earlier so now he owes her once and can not leave until she says so.
"STOP CALLING ME A COW." She shouted at him making him fall down rategr scared.
"My life is already a mess. My boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend. I don't know what to do now. I don't want to go back and face them even though I did nothing wrong. What will people say about it? Teacher was right. I am useless. I am really useless."
She sniffed and rubbed her red eyes while the man straightened up.
"Well you freed me from this prison so I don't think you are useless."
Giselle looked at him without saying anything.
"Really?" His words encouraged her and she felt a little ray of hope.
The man stood up and dusted his hands.
"Well I can not use my powers and I am hungry so let's go and eat something first. I can feel that you are not that useless after all."
In a second, he took away that little ray of hope and smiled at her while Giselle gritted her teeth. She stood up and walked towards her phone which was laying on the soft grass motionlessly because that's all it can do.
She picked her phone and dusted it gently. The phone was alright except few scratches but it was still working.
She felt relieved and put it in her pocket as she walked away from the man but soon the man was in front of her.
"Where do you think you going?" He raised his eyebrow making Giselle scoff.
"I am leaving. From now on I have nothing to do with you. You can go....."
Her eyes widened as she saw a sword appearing in the hands of the man. He had a smug smile on his face.
"I guess I can still use some of my powers."
Giselle gulped. Was he threatening her that he can kill her with that sword.
She coughed.
"I mean let's go and eat something. You must be very hungry right now. Right? Let's go."
She tried to smile while the man nodded and the sword disappeared from his hand. He moved closer and put his one arm over her shoulder like they were close friends.
"Now that we have to stay together for sometime, my name is Hyun."
"Giselle." She wanted to push him away but he dragged her with him out of the forest.
"You know I know a very good restaurant near." He told her in a happy mood while Giselle was being dragged with him not knowing what to do.
Soon they were on out of the forest and on the road. There was a food court near the forest as the picnic spot and right now it was full of people.
"What is this?" Hyun suddenly stopped as he saw a big metal monster running towards them. He sensed danger and pulled his sword out of air while Giselle blinked seeing him holding his sword ready to attack the car that was coming towards them.
"Stay behind me." He warned her making her coming out of the shock and she jumped on him holding his sword trying to stop his attack.
"Stop this."
"That monster is coming towards us."
"It is not a monster."
"Move aside."
"Please I beg you. Don't do anything stupid or else I am not going to buy you anything."
She tried to hold his sword as the car passed near them while Hyun looked in the direction of the car and then at her.
"Why there was a human inside that monster?"
"Because it's not a monster. It's a car. A car..." She sighed in the end knowing that Hyun had no idea what she was talking about. He was like a baby who just born.
"Just don't do anything stupid."
"Did you just call me stupid? How dare you to call me stupid? Do you even know who I am you lowly healer? I was your master, your savior. I am the wolf....."
Before he could complete what he was going to say he was pulled aside.
"Stay out if the road or you will be crushed under a truck." She rolled her eyes while Hyun glanced at the big truck.
"Is that the parent of the small monster which we saw earlier?"
He questioned her as he saw the monster passing near them. Was not it strange that these monsters had their own lights which were nothing like those which were used by humans three hundred years ago. Moreover no one seemed to be scared of these giant monsters.
His brain started hurting but then his stomach growled as he smelled something. He did not know how much he walked but right now he was at a place that looked like a carnival.
There were lights, people and food.
"I am going to buy you food than you will go on your way and I will go on my way."
Giselle informed him as she walked towards a food truck that was selling fried chicken while Hyun was observing around.
His clothes were different from those around him and he could clearly see the difference.
"Ah, I think I missed many things. Everything is so different and ...."
He paused as he glanced at the couple that were sucking each other's face sitting on a bench without minding anyone around them. He shivered as he felt disgusted.
"These people are so shameless. Argh...it would be better if I was born blind."
He thought for a second and then glanced at the healer who was buying something from a man.
