Faithful Diary,
When I regained consciousness, I opened my eyes to find Terra shaking my shoulders and Elle slapping my face.
“Heaven!” Terra screeched. “Oh my god, what happened? I thought you were dead!”
For the first few moments, I felt exceedingly confused.
“Heaven?” Elle asked gently. “How did you end up on the floor? Are you sick? I thought you went to work.”
“I did,” I mumbled. At first, that's all I could remember. “My stomach felt bad. Malaika sent me home. She gave me Gravol and put me in a cab.”
Elle shone her gaze on Terra before saying, “Wow, for real? You must have been dying. Why didn't you call us?”
“I don't know,” I replied. “I didn't even think of that. I just wanted to get home, to my bed. But I guess I...”
