Coming back to Bella's earlier suggestion, Mathew agrees,
"I will hire a professional interior designer, but that will be tomorrow. And I expect you to be present when they arrive."
"No problem, I will be present," she says. He likes how she smiles easily, her face radiant and happy. How does she do that? Most people going through what she does, the trauma of losing her parents, the abuse she got from her mate, and big changes to her way of living, all of it would show in their outward appearance in one way or another, but a non-werewolf would never guess Bella is going through so much trauma if she didn't tell them. He admires her for that.
"Good," he says, mirroring her cheerful expression.
"Now tell me, any updates... about the people you sent to throw Jack out of the trailer park?"
