When Elvis was back in the gas station, only to find Mr. Grant and Nany were gone, leaving Quintin here alone.
“Where are they?” Elvis asked Gordon, who was sitting there leaning against the container car for some rest. They had packed everything up and was waiting for Elvis to come back.
Gordon immediately got up when he saw Elvis and replied, “The girl insisted to go and was reluctant to leave with us. So her teacher found them a car and left. He has also taken away some food. I didn’t stop him, hoping them to leave as soon as possible.”
