LOLA'S POV

A FEW WEEKS LATER.

Eventually, I was going to join The Crestview University today. Only God knows how long I had been waiting for this.

I hated to be in this town. Ever since that teacher threatened me, I hardly left the house.

I am an extrovert but in that case, I had to change whom I am so that my secret will not get out there.

I have hidden this for long and I would literally kill to keep this secret. If it ever gets out, then I am completely finished.

I should as well die.

Those were the worst days on my life and I don't want to even recall what happened.

Anyway, now that my secret is safe, I can as well be happy for I am joining The Crestview University.

My mother checked my bag and my stuff to ensure that I had not forgotten anything.

"Do you have your papers?"She asked before we started driving away from home.

"Yes mum, they are in my backpack,"I told her and she skillfully steered us out of the parking lot of our house.

"Fine,"She didn't add anything.

She remained silent and focused on the road.

I did not blame her for the silent treatment she had been giving me for the longest time.

I think that I deserve it thanks to what I did.

Choices have consequences and this is one of them.
