CHAPTER 6

LOLA 'S POV

THE LAST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL

I used all the energy I had left to push him away.

"No one will never know of my dark secret. Okay!"I hushed before rushing out of the room.

My heart continued beating relentlessly on my chest. I was still sweating and trembling in fear as I walked back to class.

"Is everything alright?"I hardly noticed Peggy's presence.

"Don't sneak on me like that again. "I warned when he appeared our of the blues, freaking me out even more.

"I stalked you!" She said this maintaining an eye contact and I couldn't understand what this is all about.

"What do you want?"I shrugged.

"Tell me the truth Lola. What is the dark secret that he was talking about?"She inquired and I lost it.

"It is none of your f*****g business!"I said through gritted teeth.

"It will be if I find out and expose you. I will finally be able to bring you down," She was so happy about this.

"Peggy,"I called her in shock. I never knew that there would reach a time when she will choose to betray me like this.

"I hate you so much Lola. Ever since you come to this school, everything has always been about you. It sucks!"She was huffing and puffing in anger.

"f**k you Peggy!"I hissed before I walked away.

"I will know your dark secret. I will expose you, you little piece of s**t,"She shouted across the hallway but I had decided that I had, had enough.

I was going home. This school had become toxic already and I didn't need to spend some more minutes of my previous time.

I packed everything from my locker in my back pack. I didnt have so many books. My makeups were more than the books that I actually had.

As I said before, I didn't care about anything.

I gave the hallway of the school one last glance before I left feeling relieved.

Finally, I will not have to deal with shenanigans of this school.

I kept walking without looking back. I was going home to pack. I needed to have everything ready.
