Taking place twenty-four years after the events of the first book, Spellbound follows Senya, a young witch who feels like something is missing in her life. With a thirst for adventure and a group of wild friends, Senya manages to snatch the first opportunity to experience something new at the annual royal ball.

Senya expects to have her share of fun before returning to her boring life, but things don't quite go according to plan as her feelings for an old friend begin to grow. Add in a stroke of bad luck that thrusts her into a fake relationship with an arrogant, incompatible noble and a spice of a spoiled, jealous princess, and Senya has gotten a little more than she asked for.
