Chapter 4Michael stared at Tre in stunned disbelief. It looked like…no. It couldn’t look like that. Heterosexual men got on bended knee to propose marriage. That wasn’t a viable option for them, so there had to be some other reason for Tre to be down there. For the life of him, though, Michael couldn’t think of one. He couldn’t stop staring at Tre’s beautiful dark eyes, bright and happy. The caress of Tre’s thumb along the side of Michael’s hand elicited shivers with each stroke, and his stomach stuttered in response to Tre’s last words. “What…” He had to swallow. His throat had closed off on him. “What would you have to be nervous about?” “I really don’t want to mess this up.” Tre pulled a small square box out of his pocket, but didn’t open it. “Because I’ve been thinking about the two
