9. I can't love you

Rea's p.o.v
I sat on my bed, waiting for Celine to come out of the bathroom, although I looked so damn composed and calm, I really wasn't, yes having her in my room got me feeling so damn nervous, she was the first person to walk into my room, I had a thousand thoughts going through my mind.
Was my room to her liking? What would happened next? Would she be willing to share a bed with me? Was she feeling much better now that she was with me?
Above everything, I was super pissed, her words kept ringing in my head.
"I do want to live Rea, but not for my territory, I want to live for you, I really do love you a lot even though you don't see it, I have loved you for a long time, what should I do to have your love back? you don't love or look at me the way I want you to, I feel so lonely, hurt, neglected and unloved, did you know I had kept myself pure for you? I am so weak and I have no dragon, despite being r***d and forced to bend over just to please them, I kept on living and fighting for my last breath because I had hoped you would one day look my way, and save me from all my demons, Rea you did look my way, but even though your eyes saw me, your heart was closed for me but opened for another, I have no will to live anymore."
The main points I got from her words were.
'I want to live for you.'
'I have loved you for a long time.'
'look at me the way I want you to.'
"I have no dragon."
'despite being r***d and forced to bend over just to please them, I kept on living and fighting for my last breath because I had hoped you would one day look my way.'
"Ah f**k!" I growled out angrily.
Iris was at the edge, she wanted a blood bath, mostly the names of our territory's members who had r***d and abused her in any way, I too wanted the same, but asking her about her horrible past would make her sad or cry, it was up to me to find them and kill them all.
When the bathroom door opened, I quickly stood up and held my breath, Celine walked out looking all sexy and breathtaking, she was putting on my big nightshirt which I usually left in the bathroom hanged, her beautiful long hair was dripping wet and her cheeks a little red, her lips were moistened with water, I could feel Iris huffing in approval over how beautiful our bond was, my hands were itching to touch her and so I decided to just go with how I felt, I slowly moved and stood in front of her, she was looking at me with a frown.
"I'm sorry, I had nothing to wear, I just picked up this shirt from the bathroom stand." she said lowly.
I smiled then lifted my hand and touched her wet hair.
"How are you now feeling?" I asked.
She smiled softly then blushed shyly.
"Touch her more." Iris encouraged me as I breathed out in agreement.
"I feel much better." she answered in a whisper.
"Are you hungry?" I asked as I slowly trailed my fingers on her cheek, admiring the softness of her almost pale skin.
"A little." she answered as her breath hitched lowly.
"You sure are beautiful." I whispered out the words that Iris had been dying to say.
Her cheeks turned more red as her smile grew.
"Thank you." she whispered while gazing into my eyes.
I moved my fingers and gently traced her plump lips.
I swallowed hard trying to stop my s****l thoughts from becoming a reality.
I was f*****g desperate in just a second, I wanted to strip her naked and dominate her right where we stood.
"A kiss wouldn't kill." Iris huffed proudly.
She was right, Celine was ours, kissing and giving her pleasure was our duty and wish, we were meant for each other.
I slowly leaned in as she tiptoed slightly to meet my lips.
"Let us love her." Iris's words hit me hard, like cold water.
I quickly stepped back then cleared my throat, Celine's face was filled with confusion and sadness.
"Why the hell did you pull back, can't you see she wants us to continue with the bonding?" Iris rumbled angrily.
"Bonding? You must be f*****g kidding me Iris, there will be no bonding today, yes the mood was so sweet a while ago but now, I just want to rest, the day was so damn exhausting." I answered silently.
"Why can't you just love her?" She asked.
I turned and moved to the bed.
"You know why." I answered while I sat down.
"That was then Rea, now is different, Celine is ours." she rumbled loudly this time.
"Oh, f*****g great! You are already in love with her." I said sarcastically.
"She is ours." she answered strongly.
"Rea." Celine called lowly.
I faced her then held in my breath when I noticed her eyes were filled with unshed tears.
"Did I do something wrong?" She asked lowly.
"No." I answered softly.
"Then why did you pull back? I wanted you to kiss me, I really loved that you were touching me." she said as I growled lowly, she immediately tensed in fear.
"Damn it, Celine, I can't love you, I don't want to fall in love with you!" I yelled angrily.
A tear rolled on her cheek, I was about to stand up when she moved and sat on the other side of the bed.
"I understand Rea, I'm sorry to have seduced you into touching me." she said seriously.
"Celine, you didn't seduce me, I wanted to tou...
"Goodnight." she said then lay down.
"Celine." I called.
"Please Rea, I have gone through a lot today, all I wanted was my bond's closure but that seemed too much to ask, have a good night, please let me rest." she said softly.
I slowly lay down with a sigh, f**k this day.
