Avery immediately ran towards the classroom door when she saw Neria and Yuna who just arrived. "Hey!" "Goodmorning, Ave." She immediately went beside her friends who look so tired and doesn't have much sleep. "Have you guys reviewed?" The first question that Avery asked. She saw how they suddenly froze with their eyes widened. Avery's eyebrows twitched. "Don't tell me that you forgot?" "I-i'm sorry, Ave, but we can do a last-minute-review." "Fine! Just hurry." Yuna and Neria nodded before they quickly get inside the room and took their notes from their bags. It's so unusual of them to forget a plan-before-test, Avery thought. Avery sat back to review her notes again as they wait for their adviser or Mapeh teacher to arrived. . "What is the Sculpture's Context in the Byzantine Period?" Yuna and Avery pretended to think for an answer that might come out of their heads as they wait for Neria to whisper the answer. "Hurry up, girl." "What's the answer?" They asked Neria without moving their lips for the teacher to not notice their cheating skill. "There's a nature that I read. I-i forgot." Avery took a deep sigh. "Let's write anything that is related to nature." Yuna said when the teacher went to the other side of the room. . "What's this?! For the surnames that I'll call, kindly go the front." Avery tightly closed her eyes as the teacher called hers, Yuna, Neria's and their two other classmates. The five of them went to the front, nervously. Thinking why the teacher called them. "It's very obvious that the three of you didn't study your Art notes. Where did you get your answers in the item-number 6?" "Miss Izumi answerred Beautiful. Miss Jackson answerred Peaceful and Miss Houston answered Clean and Green. What is wrong with you three?" They stared at the floor with their heads down low when their classroom was filled with laughters. When their Mapeh Class ended, they immediately took their Art notes. "Sculptures Context in the Byzantine Period were religious, everyday life scenes and motifs from nature. s**t!" Neria cussed when their answers are really far from the true definition. "I really can't get it why the both of you forget about the test? I reminded you yesterday before I went home, did I?" "Sorry, Ave, me and my folks got home late last night." "Don't worry, we'll make it up to you." Avery just smiled before pulling her two friends into a hug. "Forget it. Our friendship is more important than anything." . Before they entered their TLE class. They were called by their section adviser and was given each of them a paper to answer. "So, today is the day where we will seperate in our TLE class." "What did you guys choose as your Main?" Avery asked them. "Dressmaking." Yuna answered. "Caregiver. What about you, Ave?" "I will choose Cookery again like last year." They wrote their choosen Main in the provided paper while they wait for their adviser. "I'm still curious." Avery suddenly spoke. "About what?" "About how The Liss became the number school band in Beethoven Academy. It's obvious that the five of them are transferees." "It's because they are nationally popular. You know what I mean? They perform in many different events outside the school which makes them well-known." Avery felt something weird.....something unusual to hear from Neria. "You sound so knowledgable. How did you know those kind of stuff?" She saw how Yuna immediately turned her head to face Neria. "T-the Liss is very famous here. I heard it here and there." "G10-3 students!" They face their adviser and they were surprised to see the other 8 teachers standing beside Mrs. Ventura. "Dressmaking students kindly follow Sir Agostu....." "See you later, girls." Avery and Neria waved back at Yuna as she run towards her TLE teacher who looks like a gay. "Caregivers will follow Mrs. Wong and the Cook students will follow Sir Jess." Alot of students started to blushed and giggled. Avery followed her Cookery teacher and she was surprised to see that it's not just a normal teacher. She feel like she saw an angel. Sir Jess has a clear and white face. Round charming eyes and a perfect black hair. He also has a pink magnetic lips that any girls would attempt to kissed. She slightly shook her head as they form a line and started to walk towards the Cookery Department. "Kindly pass all your papers to the front." Avery bit her lower-lip when she heard Sir Jess' voice. He speaks like a wise man and the tone of his voice is very charismatic. She passed her paper to her classmate who is infront of her. They entered a large kitchen which will be their classroom for their TLE class. Avery smiled when the kitchen is much larger than last year and she also have a handsome cookery teacher, unlike last year.....nevermind. "You can seat wherever you want." There are only 5 kitchen islands and it's only Avery and her other three classmates took the Cookery main. Avery hurridly walk towards the most cleanest kitchen island and it was located infront of the vacant island and the master's table. "We will start our Cookery Class on monday, since tomorrow is our vacant and this will be your classroom. There's also a mini grocery room but it's locked for now. My name is Xinesi Jess but you can call me Sir Jess. Kindly introduce yourselves, please." His face and voice was full of sophistication and authority when he didn't flashed a single smile. "My name is Avery Houston. You can call me Ave for short since I have no other names to use as a nickname. Thank you." Avery was smiling widely as she sat but what didn't escape from her sight was she saw Sir Jess smirked. She must be mistaken but yeah..... Sir Jess did smirked. "What about Riri? Don't you want it to be your nickname?" Sir Jess suggest. "Well, it's awkward since no one has ever called me by that name before." "The name Riri isn't bad. I shall call you by that from now on. Ms. Houston is quite formal. So, if you don't mind, do you?" They were surprised when they heard Sir Jess' chuckles. "A-alright, Sir, if you insist." Avery saw how surprised her classmates are, especially when they saw the cute dimples on Sir Jess' face. . Avery went to the bus terminal and she was glad when she didn't saw the rude guy. She sat next to the window before putting her earphones on. Her bestfriends texted her that they might have a late dismissal in their TLE subjects. She was also told by them that she can go home early and don't need to wait for them. The bus started to run and she suddenly felt someone sat beside her. Her eyes immediately flashed a glare before rolling her eyes. How Unfortunate. She secretly lowered the volume and then she heard giggles. She looked up and she saw some of the passengers are talking about the guy beside her. There was a hint of a blush in their smiles and laugh. "SAAVEDRA STREET!" The bus conductor announced and bus immediately stopped causing Avery's body to lean forward. Good thing she was wearing a seatbelt. "Yuck!" She whispered before pushing the rude man's head away from him. "Control your balance." Avery flashed a disgusted face. "Tell the bus driver, not me." He said. "You did it on purpose like last time." "Why should I do that on purpose? There's nothing there." He slowly flashed a huge smirk and Avery started to look down to see where the rude man was staring at. Her eyes rounded when she get what he's saying. "p*****t!" There's an imaginary smoke coming from Avery's nose as she stand up. She turned around and her palms turned into a ball of fists when the guy flashed a meaningful smirk. And she left the bus, annoyed. . "So, what's the plan?" Avery asked before she ate her lobster balls. "Plan for what? Is there another test coming?" "Did you guys forget?" Avery frowned at them. "Just tell us what you are talking about." Neria cluelessly said. "It's weekend tomorrow." Yuna and Neria's lips formed a big 'O'. "So.....what is our plan?" The three face each other with a smirk before counting 1 up to 3. "SLEEP OVER!" . "Are you ready, Avery?!" Her Mom was shouting from the living room. "Almost done, Mom!" She put on her pajamas before grabbing her backpack. The three of them decided to sleep at Neria's house. They are glad when her parents agreed. "Are your things complete? Did you forget something?" "It's all set, Mom." Avery kissed her Mom's cheek. "Avery's boyfriend will be sleeping at Neria's house too." Her eyes widen because of what her brother said. "I don't have a boyfriend, Mom." She shook her head when she caught her Mom was seriously staring at her. "Avery has a boyfriend?" Her Dad came out of the kitchen. She continuously shook her head. "Arthur is just making fun of me. You both know how childish I am to have a boyfriend." "Okay, we trust you, sweetheart. I already told Neria's parents that no boys are allowed." . "GIRLS!" Avery shouted before she got off the car. She immediately hugged Neria and Yuna who was giggling. "Thank you Mr. Izumi." Avery thanked Neria's Dad as he put down Avery's things on the floor. "No problem. Girls, sleep early." Mr. Izumi said before closing the door of Neria's room. Avery was amazed when she entered Neria's room. The color of the wallpaper was serenity which makes it soothing and relaxing to the eyes. Her room is so spacious and comforting. Her room has also a wifi router but the three decided not to use it. Neria has a twin size bed but she chose to sleep on the mattress beside her two bestfriends. They sat and started to think over something to do after they finished setting the mattress. "When will we sleep?" "About 11 pm. So, what are you guys thinking?" Avery asked the two of them and her right eyebrow lifted when they suddenly flashed a huge smile. "Nothing." They both answerred. "We've been bestfriends eversince 7th grade, we should really know each other more. Now, we should ask one another a question that we really need to know about them. No lies." Avery and Neria nodded. "So, first. Let's ask Neria." "So, it means that I can ask any questions that I want to know about her? Is that it?" Avery asked for confirmation. "Yes, ANYTHING. Neria, you should not lie. Okay?" "No problem. I'm just hoping that you both won't ask me anything silly." Their chuckles filled the room. "Neria, what course would you take when you enter college?" "I'm stuck between Accountancy or Business Management." She replied without hesitation. "It's your turn to ask, Ave." "I'll just save my question for the both of you later. Let's just proceed to Yuna." There is a question that was running inside Avery's head. "Why did your Mom and Dad divorced by the way? No offense." Yuna just sadly smiled at Neria before talking. "Misunderstanding and I guess both of them are not ready when they entered the MARRIAGE LIFE but I'm good now. I may not see the both of them together but I can see their best not to make me feel upset and lonely." "You also have us." Neria and Avery was kneeling when they went to Yuna and gave her a comforting hug. "I love you both!" "Hey, don't cry. You're so ugly when you cry." They produce a broken laugh as Neria wiped Yuna's tears. "Let's stop this drama. I want to ask Avery something." They pull away from the hug and do an indian-sit beside Yuna. "Shoot." "What would you choose Love or your Dream?" She smiled because of Yuna's question. "I'll choose to chase and reach my dreams first because true love can wait." Yuna and Neria made a sarcastic clap with their eyes filled with amazement. "What?" Avery mouthed. "You're amazing. It's my turn to ask..... Who is your The Liss crush?" Avery didn't spoke and just replied a wide smile. "Avery! I know you like one of their members. Who is it?" Avery pulled a pillow and covered her face using it when she feel her face started to heat up. "Come on, tell us." Yuna said while pulling the pillow away from Avery's face. "I-it's Ivan... but it's just a petty crush and I actually don't want anyone to know about it but both of you are an exception." "If say so." They gave Avery a meaningful stare. "Ivan Salazar. I never thought that you would adore someone like him but he's a charming one. So, it's your turn to ask." "What would the both of you choose. Our Friendship or The Liss?" They stopped for a moment and only the air that goes in and out of their nostrils made a sound. "Of course, our friendship. The Liss is just a bunch of boys who wants to show-off." "Our Friendship is more important than boys or any music."
