1336 Words
After the concert and their farewell messages to their fans, amidst the fans crying and telling them not to go and that they loved the group members so much, the group members stood again on the platform that would bring them down the stage while the live band continued to play the live music to accompany their retreating figures. Once they were backstage, Manager Lu and the other staff helped lead them to their green room after giving them towels to wiped their sweats and bottled waters to keep them hydrated. "I can't believe that this is our last night of concert and our last night to have a group activity." Hyeon said sadly once they returned to the green room and they started relaxing and resting after an energetic and nonstop performance for 3 hours on stage. "Don't worry. Like we said on stage to our fans, this is not the end of everything." Lyon said, trying to comfort their maknae who was feeling sad. Hyeon still pouted. "But it won't be the same, right? We all know about the individual activities that the company are planning for us. When will we have another group activity? It's not even our fault that those things happened before, but why are we the ones suffering and paying for the consequences?" He couldn't helped but lament and voiced out his grievances. As the youngest of the group, he was young and carefree, and during their trainee, rookie and succesful and popular years as an idol group, Hyeon never experience being hated or any had bad or offensive comments or articles online written about him during those years. But it all changed after their former members did what they did and the result was the rest of them suffered for it as well. It seemed that those closed minded people only saw their group as one individual instead of eight! How could they compare their former members to the remaining other four members?!! How could they suffer such unfair judgement when all they want was to perform their music in front of their fans! This was the first time Hyeon encountered such hate and ridicule from strangers online. It was not impossible, since Hyeon, like Conner came from a wealthy family. They could be considered as second generation young masters. And they joined the entertainment industry because of their passion for music and not because they really needed it for money. While Waze came from a family of professionals. His family might not be as wealthy like Conner's or Hyeon's, but he came from families of doctors, lawyers and pilots. They have enough money to live in luxury even if it was not as luxurious and exaggerated as the real wealthy families. On the other hand, Lyon came from a simple family with professors, office workers, and police officers in their family. He might not be wealthy but his family wasn't very poor either. They lived a simple life and had enough money to survive. Lyon was good at singing and dancing that was why he thought when he saw a talent search, why not join, if he won, it wouldn't hurt to have additional money for him and his family. He might not be rich but that doesn't mean he didn't want to give his family a more convenient and relax life. And after their group debuted, he managed to buy a bigger house for his family, his own condo unit, cars and a family business. They might not be rich rich, but they were well off enough unlike their previous lifestyle. It was all thanks to his hard work, his love for music, his group members and their group's fans. Everything was going great, and then scandals after scandals kept coming on their ex-members one after another late last year. It was crazy and chaotic. And despite the shocked, since they were on tour, they need to keep going. And as the scandals and rumors progresses, and their members needed to leave in the middle of their tour, they have to change their routine and the parts of the song they have to sing as soon as possible. That was whey they spent the four days of their free time before their next concert revising everything from songs to dance routines. They barely slept for those few days they had to changed everything. Despite still being confused of what was happening, add the haters and ridicule online, they still have to go on with their concert. There was no time for them to think about anything else. "Like the President said, we just need to lie low for a while. Just until all these news about our former members subsided. So that our group won't be ridiculed together or link together with them. It's safer that way. Like you said, we don't deserve being hated because of them. It's unfair." Lyon explained to Hyeon. "But will it all be over? All I want was to sing with you guys and perform for our fans. What if they forget about us? That's the worse thing, I think. Bad publicity will still keep us popular, but if we lie low for too long, what if we're gonna be totally forgotten by everyone?" Hyeon asked worriedly. "Don't you have confidence in us and our fans? We all know that our group's members are powerful and talented, even if we lie low for a while, once we come back, people won't be able to help but notice us once again. We'll be popular again and our fans won't forget us. We'll all meet each other on stage again, just like we promised to them. But for now, we need to take a break. There's a lot of things to consider as well. The rebranding of our group name, do we remain as a four member group or will the company add new members? And I think we also need this break to keep our mind and body healthy and away from all those negative news online." Conner explained to Hyeon, trying to comfort him. "That's right, who knows, maybe during our break, we could all create new songs for our next album." Waze also said with a nod, agreeing with what Conner said. "What you all said was right. Even the President is really reluctant about her decision but we need for the group to lie low until everything was cleared up, so that you all won't be linked to the current issue. So, don't think about this in a negative way. Just consider this a short vacation leave for you to relax after working hard for a long time. Visit your families, go to places you like, eat all the foods you want, go shopping and hang out with your friends. Just keep out of trouble." Manager Lu said, reminding them. Hyeon made a face. "Don't worry, Lu-hyung we're not stupid like those four idiots who brought us this disaster. I swear if I happen to see them again I'm gonna scold them to death! Letting us suffer like this because of them!" he protested. Being a maknae from a wealthy family, he couldn't help acting like a doted young master. Good thing he was cute! That was why his sister fans and mom fans adore him so much. "I still can't help thinking what happened to them and why they did that? Did someone threatened or blackmail them to do that?" Waze couldn't help but ask. Now that their concert was done and they have time to relax without worrying about their performances and being busy with their practice non-stop just to perfect their stage performances, now they could finally talk about the elephant in the room that they had no time to discuss and ponder before. Manager Lu shook his head with a sigh after hearing this. He also couldn't believed what had happened. What a waste of talent. How could the former members turn out like this.
