Chapter 4: Future Plans

"If they really didn't want to do what they did they won't be in this predicament." Lyon pointed out. "If they were being blackmailed then why didn't they say anything about it before? It's better to be embarassed and become a victim than to be the one blackmailing and victimizing others. I think the fame and fortune got into their heads." He pointed out while shaking his head in disappointment.

Conner nodded in agreement. "You have a point there. Maybe the popularity, fame and fortune made them feel infallible. It all went to their heads. That's the con of being famous after all. That's how celebrities could attract or will be attracted to get curious on trying different things, especially if they met or get acquainted with bad influence people." He reminded them. Recalling how their former members tend to loved socializing and partying.

That was why it was not a surprise if they met some new acquaintances there that was not known to the rest of the members.

While those former members were such social butterflies. The remaining members prefer to relax and stay at their condo unit where they all stayed provided by their company. They occupied one whole floor. It had individual rooms with bathrooms, kitchen, living room and entertainment room. If they want to exercise, there was an exercise gym and swimming pool on the ground floor. There were also some field and court for sports. Their group lived on the fourth floor of the condo unit style building with all the amenities. It was where all the idol groups lived under their label company. There was also some spa and salon on the first floor, a sitting room on the lobby near the reception, restaurants with different cuisine and ktv and bars as well. They also have a snack bar that was open 24/7 and a bookstore for those who loved to read and buy books or art supplies, or notebooks for writing.

Their group's condo unit was a home away from home. Their company was generous and really takes care of their idols and made sure they were all in a happy and relaxed condition. That way, they would be more inspired to do their best when it comes to making good results with their next albums and music they will composed. Which really worked. That was why idols and other artistes under their company really thrived so well and became really successful.

That was why, they couldn't understand how could their former member got astray and lost their way along the way? If not from the company and the remaining members, then it was influenced by outside forces. After all, they were not with the members all the time during their free time to go out.

Their entertainment company was generous but strict as well. Since most of its artistes were top tier, that was why it was a must that their company remain to have such high standards. That was why it was impossible for their former members to be influenced with such bad influence inside their own company and even the artistes in it.

It was positive that those bad influences that embroiled them to these scandals were those people they met outside.

"I guess out of those four, Charlie has a more acceptable reason, he impregnated his secret girlfriend and the public found out about it after his girlfriend's best friend post abou it online. The only negative thing about it from the public and fan's point of view is getting someone pregnant out of wedlock and also keeping it a secret and pretending that he's still single. The fans felt betrayed." Lyon pointed out after thinking about it.

Waze nodded. "Yeah, it's not like he forced himself with his girlfriend. He just want to keep it a secret for a while because of his girlfriend fans, but his girlfriend's best friend felt offense about it in behalf of her best friend."

"But it was none of the best friend's business." Hyeon muttered. "I don't condone what Charlie did, but I also hate busybody people who can't mind their own business. I guess she secretly liked Charlie as well, maybe she's a fan of his and has a crush on him that's why she felt betrayed, disguising it as concern for her best friend." He said thoughtfully.

Manager Lu looked at Hyeon with a frown. "You watch too many dramas, Hyeon-ssi. How about I look over some scripts for you for an idol drama since you have such wide imagination?" he suggested.

Hyeon rolled his eyes. "I'm just stating a possible facts. That could happen in real life and not just in a drama. Just last last week, my cousin's cousin almost got entangled in a marriage because he was accused of taking advantage of their family friend who's also a friend of the girl he's dating, it was chaotic. It was a good thing he has an alibi and was seen on a CCTV that he's telling the truth. That's why I suggest we get CCTV or any recording on places we go so that we can put it as evidence if we ever got accuse of something!" he declared.

"Why not I choose a detective drama for you instead?" Manager Lu suggested in amusement.

Hyeon frowned. "As long as I don't have to shrink as a kid, that meant I won't have enough appearance." He muttered jokingly.

The other members and their staffs all laughed with his candidness after he mentioned one of his favorite anime.

Manager Lu shook his head, "Don't worry, since you like to joke, I'll make sure to choose a drama with some comedy in it for you."

"Then make it a movie. I don't want to work on a continuous series for a long time. I want it to be done in one filming without breaks. After all we're taking a break as a vacation to lie low, I don't want to work hard while the others are on vacation." Hyeon pointed out.

Manager Lu agreed. It was really not important if it was either a drama series or a movie anyway, as long as the members would continue to be visible and relevant while they were on break as an idol group. It would be a waste if they don't work on other individual projects while lying low for a while.

At least with individual project, they won't be linked together like now since instead of their idol group's name, they would be using their individual names during their individual projects.

"How about the rest of you, what do you plan on doing while on break as an idol group?" Manager Lu asked the others. Wanting to hear their thoughts and suggestions.

Lyon shrugged. "Maybe a small cameo on a drama or do a simple fan meets to appease the fans, a commercial or advertisement, you know, just so the fans could still see us every now and then between our break." He suggested.

Manager Lu nodded. It was not impossible since endorsers were calling their company non-stop. They could give some of those projects for Lyon.

Conner sighed and then voiced out his plan. "I plan to go back home in Denver for a while, while I'm on break. I want to relax surrounded by my family and friends and places that's familiar to me outside my celebrity life. I also need to be away from the spotlight for now. I want to shake off all those negativity surrounding us. Once I'm ready to go back, I'll let you guys know." He told them what he was just thinking before their concert started earlier.

Manager Lu nodded. "Yeah, that's good as well. Like I said, it's time for you to relax and do what you want to do as long as it won't impact negatively on you. Just tell me when you plan to leave and I'll book a flight for you after informing the company."

Conner nodded. "As soon as possible."

"OK. I'll inform the company tomorrow morning." Manager Lu said with a nod.

Hearing what Conner planned, Waze voiced out what he wants to do as well. "Conner-hyung, do you mind if I go with you? I want to also go on a trip away from the celebrity life and focus on composing new songs and music, but I don't have an idea where to go, so can I go with you?" he asked hopefully.

"It's fine. You can go with me. But what about your class?" Conner asked.

"It's fine. I can ask my professors that I'll take class online like before during our concert tour. As long as my grades remain the same with high scores then it's fine." Waze explained.

Conner nodded. "Then it's fine."

"So, you'll both go to Denver. I'll inform the company as well." Manager Lu said with a nod.

"I want to go as well!" Hyeon suddenly protested in a brattish voice.

Manager Lu, the other members and the staff all looked at Hyeon's pouting cute face.
