"What is that?" I asked Kate as I approached her. When she remained speechless, I grabbed the paper from her hand in an attempt to read its content.
"It's Damien," Kate muttered, her fist clenching and her teeth gritting.
"He took Hazel,"
"What!" I exclaimed, not wanting to believe as I read between the lines on the piece of paper in my hand. My hands started to shake and my heart got heavy at each scribbled word I read.
"No! No! This can't be, THIS CAN'T BE!!" I screamed loudly and a heavy wind whirled abruptly in response. My eyes shifted to gray; my powers started to surge as my anger increased.
