THALIA'S POV. I heard him curse under his breath as I landed on the floor, coughing violently, my eyes tearing up as I tried to get air back into my lungs. I felt my vision go blank for a moment. My head was banging hard, and my ears were ringing so loud it almost felt like I had a bell hanging inside my head. I brought my hand to touch my head, and my fingers came back dripping with blood, letting me know that I've sustained a major injury from what I just did, but it was fine. As long as I got him as good as I assume I did, I would happily suffer through the injury. I quickly struggled back to my feet when I noticed him starting to get up and ran for the door, only to find it locked and the keys missing from their hole. He must have taken them when he'd locked the door earlier! Oh, g
