#19 proposal

the next day was pretty busy. I was back at work and even though I wasn't feeling very good I tried to just work through it. only once did I have to run to the bathroom. we haven't really told anyone yet. I needed to make an appointment and get checked out and see how far along I was. this definitely wasn't how I was planning on having a second child but I couldn't deny I loved that I was having Josh's baby. I was a little worried how my parents would take it but at least they had warmwd up to him and even started having family dinner nights with us at our place and sometimes at theirs. it was something I only had as a kid and Luke worked all different ours so it was mainly just joseline and I when we had family dinners. there was currently another board meeting going on in the conference room. I was rushing around trying to calm my stomach and get all the copies of the contract for them to look over. I made it into the conference room and started handing out the papers and right then my stomach decided that one time throwing up in a day was not enough. it was like an eruption of a volcano and I had no time to move. I tried to move back just as a rush of vomit erupted all over the CEO of Shelton enterprises. he looked horrified! I was horrified! I stepped back and grabbed the trash can just as I threw up again. " I am so..." the awful noises coming from me were echoing in the room. Mr Shelton was taking off his coat and he was by my side along with Josh making sure I was OK. " oh my God Mr Shelton I am so sorry! f**k!" shot I just cussed on top of it. " I can't believe I threw up on you!" I was trying to cover my face and Josh was holding my face.

Mr. Shelton took his shirt off and his jacket as he started laughing. " I think we can pick this up tomorrow. my wife has been pregnant a few times. it just comes out of nowhere." Mr Stanton smiled at me as he walked out the door. carrying his jacket and shirt. " your secrets safe with me."

" you ok baby? I pushed you too hard today. I'm sorry." the sincerity in his voice was so sweet.

" I just threw up on a client. I feel completely embarrassed and I just want to go home. I'm sorry." he pulled me into his arms as he was laughing.

" it's going to be a great story to tell our kids when they get older." he laughed as he kissed my forehead. " Come on go take a shower in the office apartment and I will take us home. Stephanie is already grabbing Joseline she will meet us at home."

" ok." I let the shower run down my body. that was definitely the most embarrassing thing to ever happen. I threw up on Mr Stanton. I toweled dry and grabbed a change of clothes I had left here a while ago. things were getting tighter I wasn't sure how long I was going to fit into my regular clothes. my doctor appointment was in a few days after joselines birthday party. hopefully I will know how far along I am because it's not like we had refrained from s*x. when I made my way back to the office Josh was waiting for me. " thank you."

" baby I would give anything to make you feel better. although I am excited for why you are sick. come on let's go home. Stephanie already got dinner for us." this man had to be the sweetest man. he was so amazing. I mean I threw up on his client and Herr he was trying to make sure I was OK.

when we got home he opened the door for me. it was oddly quiet. " where is Stephanie and Joseline?" He just shrugged not really worried. it wasn't like Stephanie to be late.

" maybe Stephanie took our princess out to ice cream. let me go check around ok.?" He was gone a while. I was getting a little worried and decided to look for him. what was going on? everything seemed off and quiet. I made my way around the apartment and that's when I saw it. there was a trail of white and red rose petals that led to the balcony.

I followed the path and opened the doors. my hands immediately went to my mouth as tears began to pour down my cheeks. there were rose petals everywhere. more petals than I had ever seen. Joseline was standing there next to Josh and the candles were flickering lighting up the dark. I had never seen something so beautiful. Josh got down on one knee and turned to joseline. holding her hand he brought out a little red box and opened it up revealing a little ring with a crown and diamonds on each point. " my little princess would you do honor if allowing me to marry your mommy and try to make her happy for the rest of my life?"

he slid the ring on her finger and she squealed in delight. " my daddy's going to marry my mommy!" he turned to me and cleared his throat.

he pulled out a black box and started to open it. I raised my hand shaking my head. " no don't open it." he started to turn pale and I grabbed his hand. " I'm not going to say yes to the ring. I'm saying yes to you." he grabbed me kissing me bringing me down to his. " you still have to ask. "

" I had this entire speech planned but you scared the crap out of me just now." he cleared his throat and sat me on his knee. " Emma there is no one else in this world I can imagine spending my life with. you have changed me. I never thought I would ever want this but I do. I want all of this but I only want it with you. I can't promise everything will be perfect every day but I can promise that no matter what I would do anything to make sure you know you are worth every moment. you are more than enough and there couldn't be anyone else that could make me as happy as you have. will you do the honor of being my wife?" I was crying like a leaky faucet. I couldn't believe this man wanted to marry me. he wanted to be a family. he was chosing us. " say something baby."

" yes!" I grabbed his face bring my lips to his and that's when I noticed my parents and Stephanie standing at the door. Josh opened the black box and slipped a heart shaped pink diamond on my finger.

" I decided on a heart shaped diamond because you had my heart the minute I saw you. I never had a chance. you are it for me. this is my home. you are my home." my parents and Stephanie came rushing over to me looking at the ring and grabbing me in their arms.

Stephanie was the first one to ask questions. " how soon are we thinking? oh a big beautiful wedding will be so amazing!"

I shook my head at her. " no I had the big beautiful wedding and the marriage wasn't exactly what it should have been. this time I just want the marriage. I think small and intimate. no more than fifty people and hopefully sooner than later. I don't want to be fat at my wedding. " my mom and Stephanie gasped as they realized what I was saying. Josh looked at my dad. it looked like he was bracing himself for my dad to punch him.

my dad walked over to Josh and shook his hand bringing him in for a hug. " welcome to the family son!" it was at that moment that I felt my stomach turn again and I was making a very quick exit to throw up in a toilet and not a person. when dinner was done and everyone started picking put of our apartment Josh helped get joseline ready for bed and then went and blew out the candles on the balcony. I came to the door way watching him move around.

" you did good Mr stone." he smirked as he came over wrapping his arms around me. lifting me up wrapped my legs around his waste.

" I can't wait to call you Mrs stone." he was kissing my neck and pulling my shirt up snaking his hand underneath. I gasped at the feel of his fingers under my bra and pinching my n****e between his fingers. he started walking with me towards our bedroom still kissing me on my neck and jaw and every exposed part of me. " is a week too soon for you?"

" a week for a wedding?"

" I don't want to wait. I want you to have my last name. I already have the attorney going for joseline and i want you to have my name also." I stopped him from kissing me as he was still walking up the stairs with me in his arms.

" josh we can't get married until I sign a prenup." his face was one of shock. he wasn't sure what to say.

" no. I'm not making you sign a prenup."

" I won't marry you unless we have one. I don't want anything. just make sure the kids are taken care of. that's all I want." he looked at me surprised. there was a tinge of hurt on his face.

" baby I know you aren't after my money."

" I just feel it's the right thing to do. I will marry you tomorrow if you have a prenup drawn up."

" so youvreally will marry me tomorrow if I agree to this? I will have my lawyer draw it up right now!" he smacked my ass and pushed open the bedroom door lightly tossing me on the bed. " now I think you called me Mr stone...." oh my gosh this man was going to be the death of me.
