Her fanciful thoughts about hope in the deep quagmire that she is in made Nem bitterly smile in mockery at her still naïve mind.
She really hasn’t learned enough, still thinking about a semblance of survival in her current chained state.
Nem did think about a couple of ways to escape by herself after learning that she will be leaving the territory of her lost kingdom, but the scene that greeted her at the north grounds barracks shattered her resolve.
