Chapter 28: Crisis
Third Person’s POV
Nem worriedly stared at the opened door of her study room. The five messengers from the barracks looks reliable, especially the leader of the group that is from the old powerful Hering family, but the situation is entirely in the hands of the one behind the incident. They do not have the upper hand and are in a passive position to wait for what is coming based in the mood of the enemy. It feels unbearable and disturbing.
She could not do anything other than to worry and think countless ideas on how to change the tide of the present crisis. Her eyes turned hazy and the sound of the thunderous beating of her heart seems to drown her clear mind, muddling it with pure of negative thoughts.
