Chapter 24: Silent night
Third Person's POV
The night breeze whistled along with the occasional howls of wolves and barks of dogs.
The lively night adventures of the citizens of the capital city resumed in the most bright and prosperous center lane filled with restaurants, tea houses, gambling houses and pleasure houses.
At the office of the captain of the city guards only an alley away from the center lane. A petite young man in leather combat uniform hurriedly entered the door with a tinge of panic in his face. A letter with the queen's red stamp caught the attention if the man in his early thirties seated in the center of the room.
The man has sharp facial features with especially dark pupils filled with maturity and experience from being in the top of the society ladder.
