The very next morning, Eva was awoken by excited giggles from her little brother and sister.
Sitting up in the bed, she smiled at her younger siblings and everything from yesterday came rushing back to her like a smack in the mouth.
“Eva, daddy says that we can have a day off school. We are so excited. Can we go for a picnic in the woods.” Eddie squealed with eagerness as he threw himself on Eva, she laughed as he hugged her neck tightly.
“Oh, please. Eva. Can we?” Millie begged with a cute pout that Eva just could not refuse her.
Although Eva was feeling tired still and just wanted to be left alone, she would do anything for the twins. Since they were still so young and probably would not understand everything that was going on.
