“How come your sister and her oh-so-yummy husband haven’t come to the graduation ceremony?” Alexandra questioned, intrigued by the couple’s absence.
“Oh, you know…” Alice started hesitantly, only to be cut off by Harry’s confident: “They’ll be here.”
“Well, the ceremony is starting in… like now, yet, they’re not here.” Alexandra interjected, which earned her a glare from her best friend and an eye-roll from said best friend’s boyfriend.
“What is it to you, I wonder, if we do make an appearance or not at this ceremony?” Blake’s deep voice sounded from behind them.
“Uh-hum,” Maria agreed immediately in a hushed tone.
