*Piper POV*
“Piper no, please don't leave me”
Wade comes running toward me as I lay on the ground clutching my chest, screaming.
I look at Wade he is running for me. Tears pouring from his eyes. He drops to his knees by my side, He is screaming, I am screaming. He grabs me and holds me close to him. Cradling me in his arms.
As soon as he touches me the pain starts to subside.
I smell something. It is the smell of the forest after rain. I breathe deeply. The smell dulling the pain further.
Is this what it smells like to die?
I suddenly notice where Wade is touching me. There are sparks coming between our skin. They are small at first and then become intense.I am confused.
What is happening?
I look up onto his face. Our eyes catch each others. I sudden flash a sudden realization.
