The Lycan furiously snapped his jaws at Sia, who didn't hesitate a second and pushed the screaming girl under the table before forcefully kicking the beast's left knee. That made him even more feral, snarling viciously, his canines elongate even further with venom-coated spit.
Scraping his claws on the marble floor he hoisted, the black hollows showed pure wrath while he slowly strode toward Sia.
She glanced around searching for a possible weapon, but her focus ceased when she heard muffled sounds. At that moment, Sia realized that someone else was here playing along with the beast, someone powerful. The shadow made a barrier trapping in it all the supernatural except for the novices.
One of the newcomer's werewolves intrepidly shifted and attacked the Lycan, which caught him mid-air smacking his body under him. The animal stomped on the whimpering guy, kneeled, and, in a hasty move, ripped his spine out, throwing it to the feet of the remaining wolves. Screaming howls echoed through the hall.
The Lycan roared lunging at that girl again. Sia exasperated, threw the nearest bench at the beast and signaled Kora to grab the screaming girl from under the table and run behind the wolves. The shadowy presence twirled above the Lycan's shoulders and then merged into the beast itself.
A whistle brought Sia's attention to her left, where Anwir was motioning to the hall's wooden doors. She hadn't noticed that before, but the door was decorated with a large double-headed battleax. She just needed... momentum, to reach the entrance, so she leaped on the Lycan's chest using it as leverage
to backflip.
Grabbing the heavy weapon Sia saw the runes on her hands altering their color to a silverish turquoise one, something that never occurred before, but she couldn't worry now.
Sickening laughter from under and above... the evil shadow was the beast's puppeteer and she wanted that scared girl. Why?! And how or better who helped them... Sia swore to find out!
"Come on doggy, let's play fetch!!" Sia exclaimed throwing a chair at the beast. She then sprinted towards, but before colliding with the sharp claws, she slid between the hind paws, wrapping her right hand onto his tail and yanking herself upon his back, plunging the ax across the beast's torso.
The Lycan clutched the ax with one paw and dug it out, throwing it away, while with the other, he grabbed Sia's left leg and jerked it upwards, making her head hit the floor. A sharp pain made her dizzy for a second, enough time for the beast to s***h her from the neck to the waist.
"Oh no, you didn't!!" Sia said angrily. Seizing a piece of the vitrage from the floor she plunged it into the still bleeding gash made by the ax. The Lycan groaned trying to excavate the glass deep in the flesh. Sia didn't waste time and turned to reach for the ax; holding it in both hands, she jumped and beheaded the beast. Even with the head rolling on its feet, the Lycan didn't die. Gasps of horror were heard when the shade arose again and the headless body moved.
Sia moved instantly, sweeping her foot under the creature, knocking it down to reach its torso, knowing how to sever the bond with the shadow. It clawed on Sia's back and tight but she didn't flinch and carved the beast's heart out!!
Momentarily, a screech vacated the corpse, and the shadow dissolved, leaving a bloody Sia crouching with the heart in her hands.
The headmaster and the heads stood around Sia, concealing the smell of her blood loss. In the hall were too many creatures that didn't know how to restrain themselves, especially the vampires!!
Kora and the girl run to her aid, too.
The headmaster looked at the two worried, but Kora said promptly, "Sir, I'm a Dhampir, and she is a Lythari, so we aren't bloodthirsty, and besides, Sia is our friend!!".
"Please Raakaa, she saved me!! Let me repay the favor!!" said the girl.
"All right... help her to the infirmary!
Raiden, Anwir give them a hand!!" the headmaster replied.
"I'm ok. I can walk!" Sia declared dropping the heart.
"Then go!! All of you!! We need to clean this mess!" said Akasuki while burning the corpse and all the blood around.
Vespers put in a trance all the vampires and werewolves that tried to reach Sia.
Miss Adams instructed the witches to help restore the ceiling.
Ten minutes afterward there wasn't any evidence of what happened.
"Her blood... attracts supers like... moth to flames!!" whispered Kieran Vespers to the other heads.
"Did you discern her bloodline?" asked Aoi to Raakaa.
The headmaster nodded, "She is indeed Eva's!! That's all for now. Take your students to their dorms!!" and walked toward the infirmary.

Sia walked slowly, not because of the excruciating pain she was now feeling, but to calm down so that the runes would change into the prior color. She was in deep thought and almost collided with a hard chest. Anwir c****d his head slightly and said, " I never saw someone so brave and so stupid at the same time!!".
"Now, you did!!" Sia's sarcastic response made everyone laugh.
"Are you ok?! Did he hurt you?" Sia asked the girl. They all stared incredulously. Raiden was the first to speak, "You are sliced, bruised, and bleeding, but you are concerned about her wellbeing??". " I'm ok... That beast's puppeteer wanted something from her and I assume someone helped them break in!!" Sia stated.
The girl paused and extended a hand " Thank you for saving my life! My name is Irie.". "Artemis," Sia responded shaking her hand back, "but call me Sia".
" How can I call you??" Anwir whispered behind Sia. She gave him a questioning look. He watched her amused. Raiden frowned.
"Do you know what they wanted?" Raakaa's voice interrupted the steering contest.
"No, I wish I knew," mumbled Irie.
"Well, let's go inside. I believe Miss Artemis needs stitches and liquids." The headmaster hurried them to the physician's room.
The interior was like any doctor's room, white, clean, and organized.
"What do we have here?! Oh my God! What happened??" the nurse almost fainted seeing Sia.
"Is she for real?! A nurse that can't stand blood??" Sia asked sitting on the examination table.
"Sia... that mouth of yours has no filter?!" Kora said rolling her eyes at her friend.
"I'm so sorry... I'm more of a secretary to all the doctors." said the nurse.
"Where they are?" asked the headmaster.
"They went with Batoor and Eilam to attend a meeting at the American Academy," the nurse explained.
"Oh yes...I forgot about that!!" responded Raakaa, adding, "Who knew that our magical barriers wouldn't have worked... ahhh!!
Anwir, help clean those injuries before an infection occurs! Raiden assist, would you?!" the headmaster ordered.
"Can we wait here for her?" asked Irie.
"Of course. And then take her to rest in your room." Raakaa said to Kora. She thanked.
In the room, Sia looked at the nurses shaking hands and politely inquired, " Do you need to sit down?! I can do it myself". She exhaled and gave the cotton gauze to Anwir.
"Before you ask... I did that before, so need to look at me like that!!" Anwir said to Sia.
She looked at him and smiled "Well, I wanted to thank you for helping me with the hint, the battleax...".
" Really?! And how do you want to thank me?!" he asked huskily.
"And here you go again!! Can you stop thinking with your d**k?!" Sia rolled her eyes.
Raiden was snickering beside "You are amazing!! Here you go!" he said and handed her a small vial.
"What is this?" she interrogated.
"Dragon's tears. One drop heals any injury!!" Raiden explained.
Sia thanked but before she drank, Anwir stopped her. "Before you drink, I need to sanitize those big gashes!". She nodded. The red-haired guy inspected the claw marks on her back and her thigh, murmuring something to himself. Then she saw him breathing in and revealing a fire-like thread whipping the s***h. It stung, but she didn't flinch, amazed by it. She clearly showed too much power and knowledge for a simple-minded Eve descendant, so she hoped that she wasn't disclosed.
Anwir leaned closer and shredded the rest of her shirt to assess the rest of the claw marks.
"Oh, what a naughty girl!!" he said, eyeing her pierced n*****s. Sia blushed, and when his hot breath swirled in the gash, touching slightly her n****e, she moaned.
Quickly she covered her mouth with her hands.
"Hmmm...fascinating!" Raiden spoke nearing the two. He dipped one finger in the wound and licked her blood.
Anwir crocked his head to see what the dragon was up to, but Sia's words made both men stupefied. "Ash, hot, scorching... you smell like ashes... you are a Phoenix!!!" she exclaimed.
"How?!..." Anwir moved from her speechless.
Sia was shocked, did she burn her cover?! She thought about the background story they invented and the eventual problems she would encounter. So she took a breath and said, " I don't know how, or why, but I just can discern supers. At least when I'm close to them". That was partially the truth because she just needed them to let their aura spread.
Anwir looked somehow still puzzled and asked, "So that is how you knew he was a dragon?".
" Hmm yeah... Purebloods like Raiden are easy to convey. The hybrids...well you saw that now! More is the blood diluted and mixed makes me unsure." Sia answered drinking from the vial.
"I knew that you are one of a kind right away, but now tasting your blood, I know!" said Raiden.
For the first time, she didn't panic and let the dragon continue
"You are...
