Chapter 15

Eli’s P.O.V

  It had been almost a week since I had heard or seen Dee and the only thing I remembered was my wolf Micheal came forward and took over me for a few hours. He completely blocked me out while I was talking to Dee and the next thing I knew it was night time and Dee was gone. I looked around the pack for her and even tried asking my wolf, but he refused to talk to me and I couldn’t find her anywhere. Good, good riddance, I thought, getting sick and tired of her and not wanting her here anymore. Yeah, she had helped me to become Alpha of this pack and she had worked for me for years, but I’d had enough of her attitude and disrespect. After all this I needed to let off some steam and I knew the perfect way to do it, so I grabbed a she-wolf and dragged her to my room. The whole way there she was kicking, screaming and punching me. I threw her on the bed, ripping her shorts and panties off and she curled up, trying to keep me from getting to her.

  “No girl, you are hot and you look good enough to eat.” I said and grabbed her legs, opening them wide and diving in head first to her honey hole.   “I admit you shocked me when you grabbed me and dragged me in here, I thought I was being punished for something. I know this was nothing but a s*x thing, so don’t worry. I’m still looking for my mate.” Rebecca replied, getting up and going into the bathroom to take a shower. I felt relieved that she understood what this was and that this was all it would ever be, but also a little shocked that she didn’t fall at my feet begging me to take her as my Luna, like all the others had done before her. A few minutes later she came out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her, which confused me, but then I remembered that I had ripped her shorts and panties.

  “I’m going back to my room, see you soon and remember I know what this is but as soon as I find my mate I’m done.” Rebecca said and I chuckled, maybe this could be good for me.

  “Goodnight Rebecca.” I said and she left my room, shutting the door behind her. I got off the bed and went straight into the bathroom, taking a quick shower and drying off, before getting dressed and sitting at the desk in my room. I looked at my bed and knew I needed fresh sheets now, but it would have to wait until later. I pulled out my blueprints and started looking through them, trying to pinpoint the best places to start my plan. If Selena were to go on a run, either in her human or wolf form then I could get her at any of the places on these two trails, I thought, looking at the blueprints. I already have a witch lined up to help me with this, I just have to head over there and ask her. I don’t think she knows who Mercury or any of his family are, so if she doesn’t then luck will be on my side. I also need to give a few rogues a call and I know they will help me for sure, especially when I tell them I am willing to pay them. Rogues are always greedy, but I’ll give them a call later, first I need to get to that witch.

  Stephen’s P.O.V

  I know I smelled her scent, but as I started to follow it I saw a she-wolf walking out of Eli’s room wearing just a towel. I shook my head at seeing her leaving and then began following the scent again. 

  “Please don’t let it be Bonnie or Karen or even worse, Tiffany.” I said out loud, praying that it was none of them. I followed the scent further and once I was standing outside the door of where the scent was coming from I knew who it belonged to. I had just seen her coming out of Eli’s room, hadn’t I? I couldn’t deal with it anymore and with one swift kick I knocked the door to her room open.

  Rebecca’s P.O.V

  After being with Eli the only thing I wanted to do was leave and take another shower to scrub his scent off my skin, so that's exactly what I did. I went back to my room, took another shower, dried off and then put on my night clothes. I could still smell his scent, but not as strong as before. I lay down on my bed, drifting off to sleep quickly and I was sleeping so peacefully when suddenly my door got kicked in, making me jump a mile in the air. I jumped out of bed and faced my door, quickly getting into my fighting stance, but then I saw who it was.

  “WHAT THE f**k, STEPHEN?!!! YOU….” I screamed out, but then stopped when I smelled his scent, the first rain and mint.

  “MATE! MINE!” We both growled at each other, but neither of us moved as we sniffed the air. I could smell the scent of another woman on him and he could smell Eli on me, even though I’d had two showers.

  “Rebecca, what room were you just in? Please don’t tell me it was you?” Stephen asked, making me feel guilty, but then I smelled the other woman’s scent on him.

  “I’m sorry, Stephen, but I didn’t know that you were my mate until now and it was something that just happened. It was just s*x and I told him that when I found my mate it would stop, well tonight it stopped before anything really got started. Besides, you can’t judge me. Who were you with? I can smell her scent all over you, was it who I think it was? Shelly?” I asked and he sighed, knowing I was right.

  “Well it's like what you said, I didn’t know we were mates until now, so you can’t blame me.” Stephen replied and I rolled my eyes.

  “Well, you just remember that. I think we need to wait until their scents are off before we do anything, it will be better that way.” I said and he nodded.

  “Yeah, I agree, we’ll wait a few days. Do you mind if I get in your shower, to get the ball rolling.” Stephen asked, making me laugh.

  “Sure, help yourself.” I replied, shaking my head as he ran into my shower.

  Dee’s P.O.V

  I enjoyed my nice long nap in a soft bed, which felt so much better and more comfortable than the backseat of my truck. I climbed out of bed, stretched my whole body and went to the bathroom, getting in the shower. I had showered at the truck stop, but this was so much better, I thought as I washed myself and stood under the shower, letting the warm water hit me. At least here I didn’t have anyone bursting in on me just to watch me shower or try to get in the shower with me, which was just plain creepy. I turned the water off after I had finished and got out, drying myself off and then going back into the bedroom, getting dressed in a pair of denim shorts and a blue blouse. I looked at the time and saw that I had slept right the way through and it was now dinner time, so I left my room and walked downstairs, following the delicious smell of food. Everyone was already in the dining hall when I got there, sitting and waiting for the others to join us before eating. Suddenly there was a loud growl that echoed through the room, making everyone turn to see who it was and why they had done it. I looked around and my eyes went huge as I saw who it was. I knew him, we had fun from time to time, but I never expected this.
