Bradley's movement out of bed woke me up a little. I slightly woke up from the suddenness.
"Go back to sleep, Tessa. I'm just going to make breakfast," Bradley assured to me.
"Don't burn the house down," I mumbled.
"I won't," Bradley chuckled. I hugged the pillow next to me a little tighter before falling back asleep.
The smell of bacon and eggs woke me up completely. I opened my eyes to see Bradley walking in with my breakfast. I smiled at him as he kissed my cheek.
"Enjoy your breakfast. I have to go to work but I'll see you later at dinner okay?" Bradley said. I nodded at him. Bradley handed me the remote before giving me a quick kiss.
"You should wear less clothing more often," Bradley winked at me. I blushed at his comment.
"Go get ready," I tell him.
"Only if you don't change into a shirt before I leave," Bradley told me. I laughed a little before nodding.
"Alright. Deal."
I sat up in the bed before bringing the tray over to my lap. I turned on the T.V. to watch some E! news. Though I hated the tabloids, I always found them entertaining.
The breakfast that Bradley made for me was simple and sweet. Some coffee, eggs, bacon, and toast. As I had some eggs, Bradley came out of the walk-in closet in his suit.
"You look good," I flirted.
"Thank you. I'll be back home, normal time."
"Have a good day at work," I tell him.
"Thank you," Bradley said. He came over to me before giving me a kiss.
After breakfast and brushing my teeth, I started to work on the last details on my dress designs. I heard my phone ring making me look over at it. I smiled as I saw one of my best friends calling me.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey! What are you doing right now?" My best friend, Celeste, asked.
"I'm just about done with my designs. I have to send the designs in so they could already start making it," I tell her.
"Okay. Cause I was going to ask if you wanted to grab lunch with the rest of the girls," Celeste asked me.
"I can definitely do that. What time are you girls thinking of getting lunch?" I asked her.
"We were thinking at one," Celeste told me.
"That's fine. Where should I meet you girls?" I asked.
"We were thinking of our usual place," Celeste told me.
"Alright. See you girls at one," I said.
"Bye!"
Celeste and I were in this girl group along with three other women. Out of the four of us, three had husbands. The third woman (and newest) in our girl group who was married was Thea Porter. Her husband is one of Bradley's partners in the business industry.
Clary, the model of our friend group, wasn't married but was good friends with us so we included her in. We had always joked on when Clary gets married, we'd officially be a wife group.
After submitting in my designs to one of my workers, I got dressed to meet up with my friends. I got in my car before going to our restaurant. I wasn't surprised to see that the paparazzi was nearby. I rolled my eyes before parking in the parking lot. I walked over to the restaurant, trying my best to avoid the paparazzi. When I walked in, I saw the girls waiting for me.
"Hello, Tessa. Glad you can join us," Clary said.
"It's nice to see you too," I joked as I hugged her.
"Alright. It is time for us to catch up. So let's start off with you, Tessa. You've been in the tabloids recently. What's up with that? Is Bradley giving you the attention you deserve?" Celeste asked me.
"Yes," I smiled shyly.
"Finally! I've been telling him to give you more attention ever since I met you two," Clary tells us.
"What made him snap out of his little daze?" Thea asked me.
"I don't know. But I wouldn't want to jinx it," I tell her.
"The next person we'll be waiting for now, is Jasper Kline to marry someone so they can join our group," Clary said.
"You have that right."
After my outing with the girls, I came back home to make dinner for Bradley and I. Looking through the recipe books, I finally found a good dish to make. As I cooked dinner, I heard the door open and close.
"Bradley? Is that you?" I asked.
"It's me darling," I heard. I looked over to see Bradley walking over.
"I'm not done yet but it'll be ready in a bit," I tell him.
"No worries. I'm just going to put some of my stuff away," Bradley told me. He kissed my head before walking towards his home office.
During dinner, Bradley's phone kept ringing. I looked over at Bradley who turned it off on silent.
"Everything alright?" I asked him.
"Yes. It's just work," Bradley assured to me.
"Alright," I say, not believing him.
"Look, how about we go take a shower together?" Bradley asked, walking over to me.
"You sure you want to shower together?" I questioned.
"There's always a first for everything," Bradley winked. I smiled as he took my hand into his. Tonight was going to be just as eventful as the night before.
