To Love a Wife

Thirteen

I did my best to not get stressed or upset for the sake of my baby. Julie was the biggest help I had as we had some mishaps. I sat on a chair as I looked through the guest list and seating arrangements. Julie wrote down the notes as I mentioned on who should sit with who and who shouldn't sit with who. 

As I went through the guest list, my eyes went down to one name. Chester Irvine. I didn't realize that I had invited him. Yet again, he was a big buyer since I've been tagged in a couple of his niece's photos who have worn a few of my dresses before. I looked back at his name to see that he had a plus one coming to join him. 

"Alright. That should do it. The fashion show is tomorrow," I tell Julie excitedly. 

"We'll place the name cards on the chairs before we head over back to the hotel. I do need to point out that you have to post an ad on i********: for a gummy vitamin company however," Julie told me.

"Got it. Help me with the photos at the hotel and we'll call it a day," I smiled over at her. 

"Yes, ma'am."

After placing the name cards on the chairs, Julie and I headed back to the hotel. We went up over to my suite to take the pictures. Julie helped set up the ring light before we took some photos with the gummy vitamins. 

"I like this one. What do you think?" I asked Julie as we looked through the photos.

"That one looks great."

"I see you ladies are done," I looked over to see Bradley walking over. He set his things down before walking over.

"Yes. I just need to post a quick ad and I am done," I tell him.

"Perfect. I am taking you out to dinner," Bradley said before kissing my cheek. 

"And that is my cue to leave. Ms. Tessa, I will see you tomorrow," Julie smiled. 

"Goodnight, Julie," I smiled back. After Julie left, I changed into something a little more nice for tonight's dinner. 

I changed into a nice, black dress that hugged my curves. I placed a hand on my stomach as I turned to the side to look at my body. Though there was barley a bump, I felt happy knowing that I was having a baby in me. 

"You look beautiful," I looked over to see Bradley standing nearby. 

"How long have you been standing there?" I asked him.

"Long enough. What are you doing though?" Bradley asked as he walked over. Bradley wrapped his arms around me the moment he was close to me.

"Just looking at my stomach."

"Why?"

"Because I'm carrying our child and my stomach is going to be huge soon."

"You are going to be the mother of our child. I am going to love you no matter what," Bradley told me. I smiled up at him before giving him a quick kiss. 

"Where are we going for dinner?" I asked.

"A nice restaurant that oversees the city. Come on," Bradley said. 

It was nice to be with Bradley again. I leaded against Bradley as our driver took us over to the restaurant. I looked over at Bradley and admired him. 

"Like what you see?" Bradley teased. 

"Yes. I was hoping to have some dessert later when we get back," I smiled as I looked up to him. Our noses touched as I looked at him. 

"Tonight is all about you, my darling. So tonight, anything you want, you will get," Bradley smiled down at me. 

"Anything?"

I felt Bradley's hand move to my thigh. He gave it a little squeeze before kissing my cheek 

"Anything," Bradley whispered into my ear. I could feel myself get a little more wet. 

The car stopped, making Bradley move away a little. Bradley got out of the car first before helping me out. We headed inside the restaurant where we were greeted by the manager who was happy to see us.

"We have a perfect table for you sir," the manager smiled happily at Bradley.

"Perfect."

We walked over to the balcony area. My eyes widen at the sight of the city. It was utterly breath taking. I looked up at Bradley who smiled down at me.

"Like it?"

"I love it."

"Good." 

After we ordered our food, I continued to stare at the view. I didn't want to leave now due to it's beauty.

"How are you feeling about the fashion show?" Bradley asked me.

"I'm a little nervous. I want everything to go perfect," I explained.

"Everything will go perfect. You put a lot of hard work into it and you deserve to feel appreciated tomorrow," Bradley told me. 

"Thank you."

"And I will be there, supporting you no matter what," Bradley assured to me. 

"I know. Thank you for having my back."

Bradley took my hand into his, giving it a kiss on the top. 

"I will always be by your side."
