Lilith’s POV My eyes darkened as my pupils dilated like a dark sky covered with stars. A gasp escaped my lips like a whispered secret which must not be heard by another. The surrounding air seemed to vibrate as if reacting to Ronan’s words. “Ronan, look at me. It is Lilith, don’t you remember me?” I tried to touch his hands, but he flinched, stretching away from me. This got me alarmed, thinking about what to do. “The doctor,” I whispered.
