CHAPTER 17At sunrise, Greg set all their timepieces to 0600 hours and found Shontel sitting in the conning tower watching the water as the sun lit up their surroundings. She reached back and grabbed his hand when he touched her shoulders from behind. Far off, birds chirped seemingly everywhere.
"Except for the trees, it is almost identical to the sound where you picked me up, " she said. Even the bends appear to be in the same place. "It's uncanny."
"So if we were at home, what would be where we saw the lights last night?"
"The village of Tofino. That was where we flew in on a floatplane before we were taken up to the cave where it all started."
"So this is a quantum world?"
"Possibly, but why the different vegetation?"
"Perhaps the sun in this solar system is warmer or Earth itself
