Ben Fargon....I finally met you

Somehow, I ensured that I flashed her my widest smile . Okay it was not even like I liked what I was doing but this was what I was supposed to do .

“Hey ,beautiful.” I knew this was the best way of beginning it with her . Other than the fact that she wants money with all her life plus all goodies in life another thing that I know about her is that she wants to be praised and called all beautiful names.

I knew that was how I was supposed to begin this . I could soon have her where I want exactly .

“Hello, handsome .” she flashed me a seductive smile again . How I wish she knew that I did not want anything with her at all.

“Am so blessed to see you here .” I said .

“Seriously , that is so great . I can see you are one of the most handsome young men here .” she said excitedly . “And by the look of things, I can see that you don’t have any girlfriend because I doubt if there could be any woman who could dare leave someone as handsome as you all by your own.” She added.

At this point , she had stepped closer towards me blushing her hand around my pant zipper . Of course I would tell what she was up to . She was trying to seduce me. Of course she had done that already and at this moment I knew everything about her and her tricks and tactics.

I opened my mouth ready to say anything in order to make this conversation going but it was caught short by the the attention that was asked by the Lawyer .

“Attention , attention .” he chorused and this time he was able to get the attention of almost all the guests who were totaled at about one hundred .

“As you all know , we are here to celebrate the life of one of our own friend . father, business partner and so much more of Fargon ….”He went on but then stopped a bit . I felt so emotional at this point . The passing of Fargon was still hitting me so much . I could not even say that it was going to end just like that.

“Okay anyway we all have to be strong . Fargon had always told me that he wanted his last farewell to be just merry making but not crying . That is why we are all here .” we went on .

“I was with him during his last minutes , you know he had been fighting kidney failure from the time he left prison.”

What the hell was Miles talking about ? I had not been briefed about anything like that . What I know is that Fargon was murdered in cold blood and it was Rain who was the first person to see him . This was so difficult to think about .

I had to first leave it at that then could ask Miles about it later on . For what followed like the next ten minutes, I could not clearly tell out what he was speaking about since my mind was occupied with so many things .

However , I came back to my senses when I realized that everyone else was clapping out their hands.

“Oh , I am so anxious to see Ben Fargon , He is not known to very many people .” When Mariana spoke from beside me that is when I realized that it was the time that I had been anxious about the whole evening . It was the time when every one was going to take me as Ben Fargon ,

The time when I was fully going to take over and Grey Robison was dead. He was only going to remain buried in my heart . The other person that had fully known me was my father Fargon who was already dead. For Rain , there was nothing to worry about .

“I Will see you again .” I said to her as I moved towards the stage not minding about her giving me any reply . I could hear her mutter some words but I did not care to hear . I already had set her and knew very well that in just a short time she was going to come practically falling for my feet . I know her very well and know what she was can do .

I moved until I was now standing at the podium . There was dead silence everywhere . I already knew that many did not know Ben Fargon . I knew exactly how I was supposed to behave .

“Rob , you can do this .” I comforted myself but just loud enough for only me to hear. I set ready for what I was to do .

“Okay , I am so happy that all of you have turned up in big numbers to honor the legacy of my late father. Words cannot express how grateful I am for all of you .” I went on .

“When I was abroad, my father kept telling me so many things which were a way of preparing me for this moment , I thank him .”

That way , I was able to complete the fifteen minute speech and I could say it won the hearts of almost all the audience . I knew I needed that if I was going to be able to handle all the businesses very well.

After the speech , I started by meeting some of the business partners and also trying to see that I secured more . However there was somewhere else where my mind was. I did not have to wait for another day .

This was the perfect day to begin whatever I had to. I stared through the lots of guests and spotted her looking in my direction . This even gave me a go ahead. I could tell that she had eyes on me all this time . All I had to do was to play my cards well and the rest could move on well.

“Bravo Bravo.” She chorused as she clapped coming towards me . I just stood trying as much as I could to flash her a smile .

“Ben Fargon , I finally met you.” She added.

“Of course, Mariana Wills I have also met you again .” of course those words only remained at the back of my tongue .
