I stared at the man that I had initially thought that I knew and at this moment I realized that I did not know him much .

Perhaps at this moment , I had some how realized that I was beginning to know who he was.

“Boss, you don’t have to look at me that way , I want to tell you that we are going to have this completed no matter what . We have to make sure that everything is solved.”

I was still staring at him even up to this moment .

“Okay , I will be going to have some files completed but you have to make sure that everything goes as we have planned it .” he left after that . A smile formed on my face though I could not tell what exactly had made it .

I stared at my phone after that , I was waiting for this one call. It was definitely one that I knew was going to come in no matter what . I stood up and paced a little ..

One…two…three and then my phone started to ring . I did not even have to look at it in order to know who the hell was calling me.

I went ahead and put it on my ear waiting for the caller to speak first .

“Hello , Ben . I am so sorry that I will not be able to make it as we planned.” My heart danced with joy but I still pretended like I had been affected by her statement . I in fact acted like I was actually naïve about what she was talking about.

“What ? what is the problem ?”

“Okay I understand you if you want nothing to do with me .”

“Am sorry for taking –

“No no , Ben you don’t have to blame yourself for what you have not done .” she said sounding so sad. It was not even that I cared how the hell she was feeling in the first place.

She did not deserve any happiness at all, She was actually supposed to suffer more than anything that existed . She had made me go through so much but I wanted her to go through the worst . This was actually the beginning of what was going for her.

She was going to see it quite very soon .

“The company has got into some tough scandals .”

“You mean you have not yet seen anything of the sort on social media?”

“What do you mean ?”I acted like I did not know anything .

“So people are trying to frame us of selling expired and poisonous cosmetics but I want to tell you that whatever they are saying is totally not true .”

“Poisonous drugs , what the hell are you taking about ?”

“Do you want to tell me that the collaboration we made with you is at risk ?” I asked sounding as the most disappointed human that I can possibly be.

“I told you that I am not one who wants to make losses and so much has been done by my father ts see that we keep the money that we have .” I felt the happiness in my heart getting more and more all the time I said all the words that I said to her .

‘No no , you don’t have to worry about anything . That is actually why I am partly decided to call you informing you that I will not be able to come to our date .”

“I have to make sure that I do all it takes to see that I see all those who are trying to tarnish the name that I have taken ages just building .”

I hear ages building . Which ages is she talking about yet all she has done is to end the lives of numerous men in the world. Making the majority one then wonder what the hell they had even ever done in the world to make them be in the state that they are in now.

At that moment we ended the call. I quickly dialed Richard West’s number that he picked in a blink of an eye.

“Yes Boss.” he said just after one pick.

“Mariana has started the investigations .”

“You don’t have to worry about anything Boss, everything is under control . I want to assure you that she will not get to know anything even if she moved to the button of the ocean.”

“Okay .” I replied.

“We shall talk after you are there .” I told him before ending the call. Just then, I received a message .
