The journey back was devoid of conversation. The only sound punctuating the air, was the whirring mechanical sound of the helicopter. She had called June before leaving, and had asked her to collect her from Summers and Gold, where they were bound. As soon as they hit the helipad, she unbuckled herself and after being assisted out by the co-pilot, made a beeline for the door. She practically ran down the stairs. As she got into the elevator at the bottom of the short stairwell, she caught sight of Ben making his way down the stairs, and was thankful when the doors closed, and a metal partition separated them.
