Aunty and I were always friends. She had always looked after me whenever I needed her. Lately, with stuff happening with Kevin and busy college schedules, I barely made time to go there.
Now, though it was for selfish needs, regardless she welcomed me home.
She prepared my favourite muffins and shake for me.
She kept talking about Lilith like old times and then rested her eyes on me,
"What about you? What have you been up to?"
I felt heard. Not even my mother did this to me.
