After dropping Ginna and Theo off at their house, and sharing a very tentative kiss with her that had Theo’s eyes widening before Ginna scooped him up and took him inside, Vance headed across the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway toward home. He was almost to the other side when his cell rang. He frowned when the caller ID came up as Covington PD.
