WINNIE Roman blocked the doorway and he was not so happy. I could only hope that he wasn't quick to notice the difference in my appearance like Lydia did. I shot Lydia a nervous look. She looked terrified out of her mind for me. The air in the room thickened with tension. My heart began to beat rapidly. “You can go Lydia,” I said. My voice was firm.
