Maria Hernandez C H A P T E R O N E I bit the end of my pen as I watched the muscles of his biceps flex as he wrote a sentence down on the white board, his tattoos decorating both arms like a painting starting from his wrist and disappearing under his sleeves that ended above his elbows. My eyes wondered his body liking what I saw in front of me and I know I wasn't the only one in this room that was feeling this way. Mr. Everett was known for being the man that haunted every teenage girls wet dreams at Canyon View High and there were teenage girls who didn't hide the fact that he did. Fortunately, I have morals and actually don't let my little crush show and keep it hidden unlike the rest of Canyon View High. Mr. Everett was the most handsomest man that I have ever seen and that's putting Mr. Johnny Depp to shame. Being in his late twenties, he had a athletic built from spending his free time constantly working out at the gym, he had tattoos painting his whole body that he allowed to be seen from time to time, he had grey almost blue eyes and brown hair that was always swept back nicely. The man screamed dominance and with his deep husky voice he had every teenage girls panties soaking and down to their ankles. I myself have had the late night wet dream of having Mr. Everett bending me over his desk, fisting my hair and pulling my hair back so that my head was tilted back slightly so he could look me in the eye as he takes me from behind. It's pathetic, I know. But I couldn't help that I was indeed crushing on my art teacher but thankfully I wasn't the only one who was. "Miss Hernandez," I snap out of my thought as his voice calls out my name making me sit up straighter dropping my pen from my mouth and clearing my throat. "Yes?" "Can you tell me who you instantly think of when you hear someone say, 'Forbidden Love' ?" "Romeo and Juliet?" "Bingo!" Mr. Everett exclaims turning the classroom lights off letting the room go dark and allowing the presentation being projected on the whiteboard to be seen. "This unit were going to be discussing the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet except we won't be acting out the scenes that's just pathetic and waste of time," Mr. Everett states making the boys cheer but the girls whine, me, I honestly could care less. "After we finish the story we will watch the movie and then have a discussion, any questions?" Hands go up in the air but I don't pay attention to the questions that are being asked. Instead I let my mind zone out and go to my favorite place that I like to escape to when I was bored and wasting my time at the hell whole I call of a school, my day dreams. "Miss Hernandez, do you know I haven't gotten you out of my mind since you came into my class?" Mr. Everett whispers into my ear, his finger trailing from on shoulder to the other sending a chill down my spine. "n-no, I didn't." I breathed out as he hummed lowering his head down until his lips were lightly brushing against my ear his low chuckle vibrating against my back. "Well, I haven't. I can't get the image of your perfect plumped lips wrapped around my c**k, sucking me into euphoria." He growled out taking ahold of my arms pressing me against his body rocking his very noticeable erection against my lower back. I gasp when I feel it poke me under my skirt, my panties soaking at the contact a hum of pleasure escaping from Mr. Everett as he rocks his hips one time. "Are you wet for me princess?" "Mhm" I moan rocking my ass against him wanting to feel him against me. My body ached for him to touch me, to grip my blonde hair in his hand while he attacked my neck with his lips. I wanted him to dominate me. "Maria." "Hmm?" "Miss Hernandez, what do you want me to do to you?" "Mmm," I gasp when I feel his lips touch the spot right where my neck meets my collar bone sending a shock of pleasure straight down to my core as began to suck. "Maria, what do you want?" "Hmmm?" "Miss Hernandez," "I want you to f**k me, Mr. Everett." "Excuse me?" I jump in surprise my eyes instantly locking with the grey ones that belong to Mr. Everett's. Heat instantly makes it way onto my cheeks as my eyes roam around the classroom which was thankfully empty and it was only me and Mr. Everett, but still. That was embarrassing! Mr. Everett just heard me moan out asking him to f**k me... my god, I'm definitely going to the principals office and I'm definitely going to get expelled! Mr. Everett clears his throat taking a step back straightening his black tie making my eyes instantly drop to his hands watching him do the simple action. Noticing where my attention directed Mr. Everett quickly dropped his hands and cleared his throat one last time. "The bell rung hurry to class before you're late." I don't need to be told twice as I quickly gather my belongings and bolt it out of his classroom my cheeks redder than a tomato. Way to go Maria, you just told your teacher that you wanted him to f**k you. "Hey, you look like you're about to hurl, what's wrong?" My best friend Casey, says walking up to me at my locker, her brown hair pulled back into a high ponytail. I sigh closing my locker leaning my forehead against the cold metal of the locker closing my eyes. "I just told Mr. Everett that I wanted him to f**k me," Casey falls silent before bursting out into laughter making my cheeks heat up even more if possible. From the corner of my eye I see her hunch over grabbing onto her sides as she laughs at my misery, an action that has gotten the attention of some bystanders but I don't pay them much attention as I let Casey laugh. "Are you done? I'd like to leave before I see him," I grumble shuffling on my feet the nerves in my stomach making me feel on edge. Casey stands up straighter giving me a soft smile as she nods her head. "Yeah, sorry. But that's too funny, I mean we knew you had daddy issues when you found Pete Davidson attractive, but come on Maria, Mr. Everett?" I roll my eyes crossing my arms over my chest and give her a bored look. "Don't act all innocent Casey Marie, you think Mr. Henderson is attractive and he has a beer belly and he's married!" Casey rolls her eyes flipping her ponytail over her shoulder. "Darling, Dad bod is sexy, your man looks like he took many steroids." If you haven't noticed yet mine and Casey's friendship was abnormal. Casey was a young beautiful mixed African American with German roots with the most beautiful smile and personality anybody could ask for. With chocolate brown eyes that looked like warm honey in the sunlight and a perfect straight smile, she put the rest of the girls at Canyon View High to shame, she had curves in the right places and she didn't let her looks get in the way she treated people. Casey and I became friends over the love we shared for Nutella and peanut butter both being the only ones sane enough to mix the two together and eat it straight from the jar instead of putting it on the bread, people thought we were weird for doing that but we always tell them don't judge until you try it. "Do you want to head to my place? My mom doesn't care if we smoke in the garage," I purse my lips debating whether or not if I wanted to take Casey up on her offer or not, if I did I would get out of going to gym class and possibly having a weird conversation with Mr. Everett and the principal, but if I didn't god knows I'll end up not participating in gym class like I always do and complaining about how bored I was. "Okay, but you're making me Mac and cheese," I state pushing away from my locker and making my way to her the student parking lot. Casey laughs but follows me towards her car whistling a jolly tune. Thankfully it was lunch time for some students so it didn't look entirely suspicious with us leaving school grounds but for those who knew that we didn't have this lunch I'm sure they could put two and two together that we weren't attending classes for the rest of the day which was fine by me. Any chance I get to leave this hell hole sign me up, unless I had to do actual work call me out. When we reach Casey's white Honda, I wait for her to unlock her car which she was struggling to do since she couldn't find her keys from her backpack. I laugh looking around the school watching some students mess around the parking lot shoving and pushing one another into different cars or people, I laugh when I watch one guy push another into the road almost getting hit by somebody driving. The person driving flips the guys off before speeding away making the two break out into laughter as they continue doing what they were doing before not caring that one of them almost died. I tear my attention away from the two guys and over to the window that I have grown to come familiar with and sigh. I wonder what Mr. Everett was doing. I shake my head as that thought comes to mind. Damn, I was such an i***t. Leave it to me to think about the guy who haunts my dreams and who I embarrassed myself in front of not even twenty minutes ago. God, I'm pathetic. "Ah ha! I found them, now let's go get faded." Casey squeals unlocking her car quickly getting in. I laugh following her inside and sigh when I'm finally safe in her car and away from any prying eyes. I really need to get over this crush. I thought to myself as I buckle myself up securing myself from harms way. Casey was a horrible driver and knowing that she probably won't be paying attention to anything as she dances to Ariana Grande, it's better to be safe than sorry. No offense to her, I love her like she was my sister but sometimes she doesn't know when to stop dancing. When we got to Casey's house that was a couple blocks from the school we park her car in the garage and go inside to make us a thing of Mac and cheese before we smoked that way we can enjoy it with m*******a. "Did your dad finally call?" Casey asked my blood instantly boiling at the mention of the loser excuse of a father I have. "Nope," I said popping the P taking a seat at one of the barstools my chin resting in my hand. "But he did take his girlfriends kids to DisneyWorld," Casey's eyes widen as she fills the pot of water in the sink that was on the kitchen island. "What the f**k? He hasn't even taken you or Sophia to DisneyWorld!" I nod my head with a pissed off face. "Yeah, I know." Casey shook her head as she turned the water off before putting the pot on the stove to boil. She turns around and leans against the counter crossing her arms over her chest boosting her average sized breast up. "I'm sorry babe, how did you find out?" I shrug my shoulders leaning back into my seat bending my arms and stretching them out sideways to stretch. "My grandpa and grandma were discussing it last night when they thought Sophia and I were asleep." Casey gives me a sad look and looks down at her shoes, the look she always gets when she hears about my home life. My home life wasn't tragic or anything but it did have a major impact on me and my little sister mentally and physically. When I was five when my mom was pregnant with my little sister and during the whole pregnancy she had some complications. About a month before her due date my mom started bleeding uncontrollably and was rushed to the hospital. The doctors had to do an emergency c-section because my mom was bleeding uncontrollably and was stressing Sophia out and the only way to safe both was to do one. Sophia was born on October eleventh and was so small that she had to be placed in a incubator until she was healthy enough not to be. While nurses and doctors helped Sophia, the rest of the doctors and nurses began to help my mom who was losing more blood. For two hours my dad and I waited for news about how my mom was and it wasn't until noon that day my mom was pronounced dead. I remember my dad falling down onto knees and screaming and cursing at God for taking my mom, I remember the doctor giving me a sad smile, one that looked like it had been practiced for years before leaving me and my dad in the waiting room. It was that day my dad changed to the man that I knew him as now. After my mom had died my dad stopped coming to the hospital, he didn't want to see Sophia, he resented her for killing his wife even though doctors were telling him that the cause of death was because my mom was having a miscarriage but because she was anemic it was hard to control the bleeding and if they saved her they wouldn't have been able to save Sophia. Because my dad decided to abandon Sophia, my grandma and grandpa would be at the hospital everyday while my dad was off only God knew where. Sophia was in the hospital for one month before she could come home and when she did was the first time I had seen my dad since my moms funeral. He looked miserable, he had a medium sized brown beard on his face and he wore a worn out white shirt that had ketchup and mustard stains. You could tell that he didn't put any effort into his appearance but at the moment I didn't care all I cared about was that my dad was back and I could finally come home and stop crying wondering where he was and if I was ever going to see him again. "Daddy!" I ran up to him throwing my arms around his legs and cried into his jeans. I yearned for the feel of his hand to run through my brown hair like he used to or bend down and pick me up and giving me my favorite type of hug which was a squeeze hug but none of that came. "José, you're back. Where have you been?" My grandma asked rushing over to us, her eyes roaming her son. "It doesn't matter, I've come to sign over my parental rights over to you guys. I want you to raise the girls for me, I don't want them." My heart drops at his words not really sure what he was saying as I take a step back my brown eyes looking up at him trying to see if he had any sadness in his eyes at what he just said but his face was blank and cold, an expression that I have never seen before on him. "Daddy?" I whisper whipping a tear that fell down my cheek away. My dads brown eyes dart down to my own, his face still cold and blank as he looks at me before looking back at my grandparents before taking a step away from me. "I have the signed papers here and have sent them to my lawyer. All you have to do is sign them and give a copy to your lawyer." He states holding up a brown folder that had papers sticking out. He placed them on the table beside the hospital crib shoving his hands into his pants before making his way out the door. "Don't you want to see your daughter José?" My grandpa speaks up causing my dad to stop walking and tense up. He doesn't turn around, but his head turns to the side, "I don't want to see the monster that killed my wife," he hissed before walking out of the room leaving. That was the last day I ever saw my dad in person. Occasionally I saw what he was posting on f*******: by a fake profile I created to stalk him and by what my grandparents mention of him. Sometimes he would call my grandparents but he never asked about us and my grandparents do try and tell him about us and how we were doing but he ignores it by trying to talk over them or mentioning something else completely changing the topic. Casey loves hearing about those phone calls, hence why she was asking. Casey was also the only one who knew the true reason why I was living with my grandparents aside from the principal but other than that nobody else in the school knew which I liked because I honestly wouldn't know what to do if the school knew. Casey was like my sister and even her family treated me like their own. Her younger siblings all treated me like they did Casey and I was so glad that they accepted me into their family because they were like my second family and I don't know where I would be if I didn't have them. "Do you want pepper on yours?" Casey asked breaking me away from my thoughts and back into reality. I give her a smile as I nod my head and watch as she shakes the pepper over my bowl before handing it over. I jump off the stool and walk over to the garage door to finally begin what I had been patiently waiting for which was playing with the devils lettuce. ~~ Going home later that night was a blast, my grandma had just gotten done making spaghetti and my grandpa had just taken the cheese bread out of the oven making my high ass hungrier. Thankfully the smell of m*******a wasn't lingering on my clothing anymore after airing out and spraying as much perfume as I could— not like they cared that I smoked, but I had to be safe driving home!— I walked into the dining room taking my empty chair next to Sophia who was reading Six of Crows. "Hey Soph, how's school?" I asked the thirteen-year-old. Sophia doesn't bother looking up from her book as she turns the page, her dyed blonde hair pulled back into a messy bun and away from her face. "It's alright. I got stuck with Peter Cross as my partner again," she grumbled wrinkling her nose in disgust. I laugh shaking my head resting my elbows on the table. My grandpa comes in carrying a plate of garlic bread on a paper plate while my grandma comes in after him carrying the pot with spaghetti inside it. "Alright, I want to say grace before we dig in, am I understood girls?" Sophia and I groan in our seat earning a glare from our grandma as she takes her seat next to my grandpa taking her hand into his with her other one reaching out to Sophia. Sophia glares at her outstretched hand before placing her small one into her wrinkled one. I take ahold of her other one and my grandpas before bowing my head closing my eyes as my grandpa began saying the Our Father and Hail Mary. After my grandpa had said Amen and we began piling our plates with food. Sophia was the first one to take a bite of her spaghetti, a moan escaping her as she looks over at my grandma giving her a thumbs up at the taste. I chuckle at her weirdness and grab a cheese bread from the plate my grandpa brought out. "Mr. Everett called today, Maria." My grandpa speaks up first breaking the silence. My heart drops down to my stomach making my face to go white as I look over at my grandpa who was casually eating his food like he didn't just drop a bomb. "H-he did?" My grandpa nods his head, his mouth too full with food to talk. I clear my throat. "What did he say?" My grandpa holds up a finger as he finishes chewing his food before swallowing and speaking. "He asked if you could come in an hour early before class, he would like to speak to you." My body runs cold as if my grandpa had just poured a bucket full of ice over me. I nod my head my heart hammering in my chest as different scenarios ran through my mind. Oh god, what if he wanted to talk about what happened today in class? He's definitely going to take me to the principal before school started that way I didn't have to worry about any of my classes. God, my grandparents are so going to ground me when they found out that I have been expelled. "Are you okay?" Sophia asked me breaking me away from thought. I look over at her, her brown eyes glaring back at me as I chuckle nodding my head. "Yeah, I just remembered that I have um math homework that I still need to finish, so I'm going to excuse myself." I reply hastily getting up from my seat not caring that I left a plate full of food. My appetite had been completely ruined, I was too scared for tomorrow to eat and knew that if I even attempted to eat the spaghetti that I'd end up throwing it up everywhere and that wasn't something that I wanted to clean up. I ran to my room and locked my door, my heart hammering in my chest as I walked over to where my phone sat on my bed, the blue phone case appearing almost black from the red LED lights. Maria: Dude I'm definitely getting expelled tomorrow because of what I told Mr. Everett! I quickly send Casey a message on Snapchat sitting down on the she of the bed, my phone pinging with a message a moment later. Casey: haha rip! But hey maybe he'll f**k you before ?? My mouth falls open as I read what Casey just sent my cheeks turning a shade of red. Shaking my head I stand up from my bed and walk to my bathroom to take a shower. Yeah, there's no way Mr. Everett would want to sleep with his virgin student
