Episode 1: Synopsis

I was busy typing in my laptop when someone entered my office.

"I've been calling you for how many times! Have you heard the news already? It's spreading worldwide! Gosh, Erenea. Your reputation will be tarnish because of that!" She ranted behind my back.

I noiselessly face her.

"I know," I held my breath before releasing it and it created a heavy sound. "What can I do? The issue is still firing out in every corner of the world."

"Can't you do anything about it?" She complained.

"No matter what statement I'll release,the press wouldn't buy it. They're believing Hera's article. So, what's the point of explaining?"

"Uh, enlightening them?" She suggested that made me shook my head in disapproval.

"Eve, I don't grasp people's opinion. Whatever I'll say to defend myself from their fake accusations, they'll still see me as a bad guy here."

"But we clearly knows that you didn't do it! It's not your fault to blame!"

"Say that to Hera who's pointing a finger on me." I murmured and blow the hair covering my face.

"That b***h. She's ruining your career!"

"She always does. What's new?"

"Let's cut this crap and accompany me to eat some lunch."

"Whatever decision you have in your sleeves, I'm always here to back you up."

I cackle. "Touch."

Hera and I have a conversation regarding that matter while strolling outside when we got halted by the sudden incident. Numerous people holding their gadgets are now surrounding us. Like a celebrity flocked by medias, we were cornered.

I'm too stunned to even utter a word nor run. Eve who's beside me was stood frozen on her spot too.

"Is it true that you're disgracing someone because of their status?"

"Didn't you feel ashamed on belittling someone because of their state?"

"What can you say about your fans that's now raging and mad about the issue you were entangled with?"

"What can you say that your fans are now hating you?"

Beads of sweats are forming in my forehead. I gulped hard while staring at the rampaging crowd that's attacking me with words I couldn't comprehend.

Damn. I never did such things!

I felt Eve's hands gripping mine. We both sigh in relief when the guards came running to rescue us from this unwanted situation.

They shoo those people away from us. After that, they escort us towards the car waiting outside.

When I got inside, my legs curled up out of tension. I'm a bit startled when someone keep on knocking the car window. Eve crawled to my direction and embraced me for a hug, comforting me and somehow, it ease the trembling of my nerves.

"H-help me pack my things. I'm getting out of here to breathe."

I'm so done with this unexpected shits that I badly need to have a getaway.
