Sara Ikari:
"You? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I should be the one asking you; this is my company," he said.
"Your company?" she asked, looking around. "I thought you were a servant last night," she said.
"Wait, are you following me? One time can be counted as a coincidence, but this is the second time on the same day," he gave me a smirk.
I let out a scoff. "Trust me, I am not at all interested in you," I say.
"Then what brings you here?" he asked.
"I am here to give you an apology. I am sorry for what happened, and I do not want you to get angry over it," I said, and he gave another smirk.
Patience Sara, patience. I wish I could wipe off that smirk from his face.
"At last, your mind started to work, I guess," he said.
"No, I am here to apologize for my..." I was cut in the middle of the sentence.
"Whoever you are, miss, I am not accepting your apology," he said.
Wait, what? Who the f**k denies an apology? Guess what? I do not give a sh*t about him or the apology.
"You are such a self-centered person, you know what? f**k you," I said, turning around to leave. I found my cape lying on the couch, so I took it.
"Oh, I know you intended to f**k me; I saw that in your eyes when you were staring at my body," he said.
"You are just disgusting," I said, and I started to walk out.
"And yeah," I said, turning around. "Do not ever try to cross my path. I will not be a good girl; I might even kill you," I said and walked out from there.
I came out and started to catch my breath. My heartbeat is racing up. Calm down. Calm down. You can talk with Dad; it is not a big deal, I tell myself.
Dubiously, I called my dad, and he picked up.
"What happened about the work?" He came to the topic directly.
I cannot hide, so I decided to make the point.
"He was not ready to listen to me and said he did not accept the apology," I say.
There was silence for a couple of seconds. "This all happened because of you; you could not even do one single job. You are nothing but a waste of time and space," he said, cutting off the call.
Tears found their way, and my eyes got blurred. No, no, I cannot cry here. Not today, not ever. I always try my best to not let my dad's words affect me.
I wiped my tears away and started to my office.
Matio Rodriguez:
Finally, it seems like the girl came to her senses and came to apologize for last night.
"And yeah," she said, turning around. "Do not ever try to cross my path. I will not be a good girl; I might even kill you," she warned, storming out of the office.
I do not wish you to cross my path either; I wanted to yell.
She is the most rude person I have ever encountered.
"Who is she?" Samir's voice broke my train of thought.
"The random woman you were talking about last night," I say.
"Wow, she looks fierce," he said.
"Just a nut case," I replied.
"But why is she going to apologize? What happened?" he asked.
"I guess she thought I was a servant and handed me her cape last night; we bumped into each other last night at the art exhibition, and we had a little encounter today morning as well, and here to apologize," I say.
"Wow, it looks like your life is spicing up," Samir chuckled.
"Do not get too interested in others' lives, and my life is simple. As you know, I am about to get married soon," I say.
"Are you sure about the marriage?" he asked.
"It is nothing but business; it will only last till we doom the Ikari group," I said.
"But what about the girl?" he asked.
"She has to pay for her father's crime; nothing else can be done." I said, "And if you are done with the inquiry, shall we start working?" I said, and he nodded.
We both worked for a while and talked about the deal that we were about to sign today. Moreover, through the Black Code, we got to know that Layman Pharmas had some legal issues going on, and they hid the matter from us for the deal.
"Samir, please inform Lily to arrange the deal meeting this evening," I said, and he replied with 'ok'.
We worked for a while, and there was a knock on my door.
"Come in," I say. "What is it, Lilly?" I asked.
"Sir, Mr.Ikari from the Ikari Group is here for you; he made an appointment," she said, and I nodded.
She bowed and left.
"Hi, Mr. Rodriguez," Hinata said, entering the office.
"I think we should meet in the meeting room for the signing of the deal; what a surprise," I say.
"I am here to apologize in person for what happened yesterday. I hope you are not angry," he said, and I stared at the time, hoping he would continue talking all his bullshit at once. "And I also wanted to make sure that it would not affect the deal," he ended.
This is exactly why he is here; he does not want anything to happen to his deal.
"I gave my word, Hinata; Rodriguez does not go back on our words, unlike others, probably Ikkari," I say, and he clears his throat.
"I will be meeting you at the signing then, but what about the marriage? When do you want the marriage to happen?" he asked.
"Is it fine if it is tomorrow?" I ask, and his expression says that he is taken aback.
"Whenever you want," he replied.
"Then fine, let us have it the day after tomorrow, and Mr. Ikari, let the marriage be in a small space with none for the little guest; it would be even better if it was just the close family," I said, and he nodded.
I want the wedding to happen and then get away with it, but first I should inform my parents about it. I also need to deal with them, and I am sure they will not be happy with this news.
I opened my phone and texted Sofia, "Sis, time to get your ass in New York; your brother is getting married. And do not get excited and tell this to Mom or Dad; I have not informed them yet."
Sofia is on her trip to England; she is there to sign a deal with some company.
In the evening, we signed the deal, and Mr.Ikari is on cloud 9.
"Hinata, I dare you to announce this wedding to the media; our company will do it," I said, and he nodded.
"We would like the wedding to happen in Boston," he said.
"I do not care; just forward the details to my secretary," I say.
He is a fool if he thinks that this marriage matters to me, and I will be head over heels for his daughter.
